I have really bad lighting in my bedroom so I can't do pics in there, but I just thought about it, maybe I could just skip out on the headboard pics and put out a duvet and what not on the floor!!! I'm planning on just doing like his fav lingerie I have, and his shirts, and just the sheet, etc. Thanks girls for inspiring this new idea!

I think its a good idea to have thread just for dresses for sale. I think there are alot of girls trying to sell their dresses from way back. I became a 2 dress bride so my first dress is still for sale. I'm asking $150 but open to offers. I did the SHD sorta for the last 4 days and its so great!!! I really lost again this week. But I'm so close to me ultimate target that I'm going to add the soup in every once in a while but not to lose anymore weight! YAY girls. We've reached the end of this season! How do you feel?!

Ha thanks! I'm sure they'll sell. I was looking on there and any under $500 ending today have several bids on them. WOW I have to admit I'm an MJ fan, but I never thought I'd be so upset! Last night was horrible. It hit me that there is no more MJ. But the kids really pulled on my heart. i watched the whole thing. I knew they were bringing in the casket so that didn't get me, but as soon as I saw that the hand his brothers and other pallbearers were holding his casket w/ had the glitter glove I just started crying. It was the perfect touch. Then I did okay until Brooke Shields talked. It was just so real. It wasn't "WHAT, Michael Jackson eats Kentucky fried chicken!" or we always lost to the Jackson boys at softball. She really gave light on the real MJ. And she could barely keep it together, it was nice to see how much his friends cared. Then when Marlon started talking I choked up. he just started crying right away and said "I'm hurting" But when paris started I broke down! She reminds me of me 10 years ago. I was the same age as Prince, so only a year older than Paris, when my dad died of a heart attack. We had 2 funerals too, I had seen his body which I've heard they have. Seeing his body made me realize yes my dad is dead but didn't really set in. I sat in front of his casket just like they did and stayed strong, didn't cry etc. But when I went to talk it was just like Paris I broke down. But really it didn't hit me until a month and a half later. At first it felt like he was just on vacaton or something but when a month and a half went by and he didn't come home it really settled in that my dad was never going to come home. I'm sure Paris, Prince, & blanket are used to their father being gone for a few weeks at a time so I'm sure it will take a bit longer for it to hit them. The hardest part hasn't come yet. I really really feel for them.

There are tons of pics out there to use for inspiration. I also don't have the funds to really do it and i don't have anyone in our area that is experienced in BD. I haven't officially decided, but may be doing a DIY BD book in a couple weeks. I'll get a hotel room, but have my friend do the photos. I think if you want to do this don't expect a book like the other girls have had. I mean for those quality photos you need a good camera, good lense, lighting, someone who knows how to work it, and a good editing program. I realize my book won't be amazing if i do it, but my best friend has been taking photog classes for a while and I have a nice camera and a couple good lenses for her to use and I have Adobe CS4 I'll use to edit but dont expect an amazing book. If i do it in a couple weeks Ill show you what i end up w/. My friend is only in town for the weekend and its so close to us leaving. You may be able to find someone who could do a good deal for you. I've figured even if i don't buy outfits, do my own hair and makeup, get a room and the book I'm still looking at $300+ and alot of work doing my own book. I'm sure someone who could give us alot of info would be Tammy, Trish or Morgan

oh honey! I hear ya!! My bridal shower is this weekend. Thank god we've done the majority of the work on the backyard. My BM offered to do my shower then decided she wasn't going to and was no longer a BM so another BM stepped up but didn't have money to really do anything i just told her to let me know what she needs. Well now my BM is back in and wanting to help w/ the shower so I thought great! She doesn't want it at her house anymore but wants it at mine cause its bigger, except we just sanded all the walls and they need painted. Not gonna happen before the weekend. We have so much work to do so i'm hoping the weather will be good cause we're gonna be outside. And this weekend she asked me to come up w/ games and make sure I remember to buy favors, gifts and prizes WTF!!! And she forgot to send out my invites I had made after she bailed so I have LOTS of close friends not coming cause they had previous plans We'll get through it! At least our big days are SOON!

You can give one to me! I've been raving on FB about how bad I want one! i can't pay the $300+ on ebay but would love to have one for a smaller price! As soon as they showed it on CNN about 40 min before the service I have been raving about wanting one They looked so nice! I will say it again. I love the Congress woman and she said "A man is innocent until proven guilty"!!!! Many people believe he molested children, but you can't say he did we just don't know

Really any baker should be able to do it. The glove isn't like a huge 3D version of MJ. Have you asked any bakers there?

I haven't seen all of it yet, I've been pausing it. We've been talking a little about it on the "Michael Jackson passed away" thread. There is no way someone could get to that casket! The 9000 in front of it are family and very close friends that the family invited so the crazies are out further in the stands. I have been watching coverage since 7 and knew they were bringing the casket but when I saw his brothers wearing the glove while bringing him in I cried. I have cried on and off this whole time. Loved the congress woman!! I'm so glad someone stood up and said it!

Everytime i watch the show I can't help but think of one of the BDW girls who was saying I think her FI was out w/ the guys maybe for his bach party (I can't remember) but it was just before the show started taping and she was giving her phone number out to some of her FI's friends

oh Jac earlier they showed the family going into their private memorial this morning and katherine was walking in the kids and as soon as I saw his kids I started crying

I get what you're saying, but still. one of my very close childhood friends died in a car bomb in iraq a couple of years ago. our town is on the smaller side and we had a HUGE memorial for him, but in no way would I EVER expect CNN to show coverage of it. The world didn't know him, or even know of him. To the world he's another tally on the casualty list. The world knows/knows of Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson has impacted the world in more ways than people know. The US is the only place were he is remembered for his molestation accusations and i think alot of people are still focused on those. God forbid someone you know/know of and instead of celebrating their life everyone criticizes them for their wrong doings. My dad died suddenly of a heart attack and I'm so thankful that even though him and I had a horrible relationship and he was an alcoholic who beat my mom I focus on the good times we had and so does everyone else who knew him. That's what this is about. What Michael has been doing for 40 years. He set the mark for african american performers. MTV didn't recognize black musicians until him. This man touched the world and thats why he has this much coverage. Our soldiers give alot and sacrifice so much but they do that for us, our country. Therefore they just don't have the impact on the world as Michael Jackson. They deserve to be remembered and honored. I don't really view it as Michael being put higher its just that billions want to say goodbye and remember him and in this day and age having a big memorial w/ lots of tv coverage and internet thats how the world is able to participate

Ooo I would love to hear all about this. I used to be a TA for SatoTravel and then went to the airlines and I would LOVE to be a TA and have my own business as well. I really considered it just after Cattie was born but didn't know where to go w/ it and with being a new mom and wedding plan I never really took the time to look into it!

I agree that we have lots of soldiers dying everyday and I'm appreciative of their sacrifice. But honestly we have soldiers die everyday, people really don't want to be reminded everyday for years about who died that day. i have several family members in the military and I don't want to constantly be reminded of what could happen. Also might i mention that of course our soldiers mean alot to us the rest of the world doesn't care. Michael impacted the WHOLE world! I know what you're saying, but I think the comment is kind of inappropriate when the world is saying goodbye to an incredible man who was more than just a music icon, and saying goodbye right at this moment

Everytime they start playing Man in the Mirror I start tearing up! I'm gonna be a mess in an hour or so! i'm happy to hear that his body will be at the memorial and I want one of those programs!!!

OMG I was SO happy she got rid of Wes. I really don't get how he thinks this helped his career.... maybe if he hadn't said any of the comments and acted genuine even w/ the guys and left and said he had a girlfriend he would have had better luck although he probably would have made it to the end and broke her heart. He's just disgusting, the sex comment at the rose ceremony, WTF! I'm all for Kiptyn. There's just something about Reid I'm not jumpin for. I really wanted Jesse to make it!

Ah! This is just what men do! I know you really don't want to redo them or spend the money on them, but if he already bought everything I would just offer to help redo them. I know it sucks. But it probably means alot to him to be able to fix this and prove to you he is capable and have a proud happy bride who loves her programs. I know you don't want to, but I think its the best thing for him. Let him help and redo and maybe jump in and help a little. Men don't want to help again if what they did before was wrong and they werent' able to prove they could do it. I'm sure it will work out programs or no programs!
