Hey all, Another Boston bride here. We are getting married at Beaches Negril and then staying for our honeymoon at Couples Swept Away.. I can't wait for Jamaica!!

I am in the same boat as you honey! We are getting married the same day as you but at Beaches Negril, Jamaica.. and Sandals/Beaches has a policy of using only their vendors... I have not figured out a way to work through this yet... but their has to be. (I had no idea until the paperwork came in the mail after booking) But I want to change places now too .. I think it's rotten that we can't use who we like. We have a 5yr old and its the main reason for Beaches... but now I am begining to wonder.

I found your little blurb about the culets and I agree totally... NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM!! I would have nothing otherwise.

I am actually a Beaches Negril bride November 8, 2008. Five months left as of yesterday.. YIKES!! I have sooo much to do! Since Beaches is pricey not everyone could afford to stay, plus we have some that are just couples with no kids, so they are staying at Sandals since its right down the road and we get to go back and forth to the different resturants and everything since both offer something different. Main reason for Beaches is because we have our 5 yr old son and we needed to make it as perfect for him as it would be for us. I would love to hear about all your ideas and that ever anxious review you have when you come back. What have you thought of the Miami (planners) girls... helpful or not??

Perfect... I am at the same crossroads with my dress... they are in the process of getting me the sweetheart neckline like I wanted all along.. but ended up with a straight top because I loved the rest of the dress... I can't wait to see the final product in mine... yours is georgous!!! Amanda

Hi all!!! My name is Amanda and I am from the Boston area. My FH is Jason. We picked our date 11/08/08 because we liked how it all doubled and we got engaged on the 8th. We are getting married at Beaches in Jamaica because it seems like a perfect place for our 5 yr old son to have the time of his life along with "all of us getting married" - as he puts it.
