Wholly Toledo Batman... I am sore today from lastnight at the gym. I've been to the gym 2 times now ... and yesterday I was amped 30 min on the eliptical 20 min on the bike, and then another 10 on the tredmill as my cool down since my legs were still movin like crazy from the Elip... I CAN'T WALK DOWN THE STAIRS!!! HAHAHA I guess when they say "no pain no gain".. I better have worked my tooshie out hardcore with it!
Just sent in my result well weigh in .. BLAH! But I can only get better from here .. off to the gym now.. Started yesterday for the first time in about 6 years. It's gotta come off since I have less than 4 months!!
Erin,
I like the idea of replicating your orig cake.. Plus, since your bling was left in the room, and I know how much you wanted on it... I would keep it the same.
So after a chat this morning with my MOH we are at a loss. I want to make the passport invites and we were looking into timelines as in how long it's going to take us to make them and when exactly we should send them out. Our wedding is 11/8/08 and our AHR is scheduled for 1/10/09 due to the holidays once we get back from our HM.
When do you think I should be sending these out?? Should I send out STD's too before our wedding, just to prepare everyone that in Jan we are having the AHR?
This is what my thinking was: While on our HM (around Nov 12thish) invites sent out with a RSVP of Dec 15th. But now I am wondering if I will get anything because I don't want our invites to get lost in the shuffle.
1) Use Save the Date's before the wedding for the AHR
2) Keep orig idea and dates
3) Move up the invite send outs
Oh my I love it... I booked a few weeks ago with a guy since I was only able to find him... I am switching totally now .. not that I have a problem with him... just sorta he is one of Jays poker buddies and friend for the past 10 yrs! Seems funny to see him in my skivies!!
Here is his myspace and website and he does unbelievable stuff:

We are having a jack and jill but it's a bit different in our neck of the woods that just a shower.
Our jack and Jill will be held at night at a local hall where drinks are super cheap (think Legion/Elks/Eagles) The Groomsmen put this show on. It has raffle tickets for cool prizes and its 5 or 10 to get in the door normally. We will have a DJ and everything too... Honestly I just don't know when it is because they are supposed to be a surprise. All the money raised from the night after paying for a few things goes to the couple to help pay for the wedding/honeymoon.

Girls I am sooo glad I asked bout this you all have helped ...
I also agree with maybe finding my BM's dress in white would be a great idea too. I orig had 4 girls now I am down to 1 sooo I could use one of the other dress styles.
Lets keep this thread going...
Kelly I know that face all too well (Make it everyday when I just don't get it) because I really wanted to incorporate our orig home town wedding date of Dec 20th.. but Ummmmmmmm NOPE that can't happen. So I just went with everyone elses schedules. I'm not super hyped about it yet though, we still have yet to book a place but Jan is dead around here for halls.
Kelly, When is your AHR going to be? I'm a Nov bride and once we get back from our HM it's in the full swing of the holidays. We are waiting till the second week of Jan to have ours so it will be less crazy. We are going with an easy luau theme with centerpeices with playsand and shells from the craft store along with cheezy cheap finds you can find now anywhere because of the summer theme.
Yup, I can't live without it sometimes... it's a crazy cycle.. but I love all my friends that I have been able to reconnect with from HS and College...

See now that is exactly what I am talking about ... I have been on a hunt for something like that... My dress is all chiffon too but it's heavy and with all the recent super heat we have been having I tried it on and I felt horribly uncomfortable...
So girls did you have or do you have a reception/dinner dress to change into? If you do where did you find it?
I am totally up in the air about this but I think it might be a good option to be thinking about since my WD is a fuller style and I don't want to be a wet rag baking in the sun totally uncomfortable. Past couple of weekends I have been strolling through the malls and online seeing what might be available but nothing has caught my eye. My intention is to have a simple chiffon knee length maybe with some straps or not... who knows.
Any help would be great... I'm at a on this one, and I know you girls always pull through!!
