Hi Dez - thanks ) The young comments from you and Melissa are awesome. Really.....39 isn't that old ) I am saying this because when I was young.....30 was old! hehe. Dez.....the one blowing bubbles is my youngest (he is 9). I will send more pictures if you guys want. The photographer was absolutely outstanding and I am very glad I did the no hassle approach and hired the resort photographer. I couldn't have been more pleased. Melissa - I had no problems what so ever eating with our group. And..honestly, we ate together every night - 22 of us. When we ate at the shows, we just showed up a little early and we all ate together. Most of the time we were at 2 tables, but that was okay with us. We had our wedding dinner at the steak house and we were somewhat seperate from the rest of the place, however they still could see us. We were making toasts and dinner was fabulous - they brought our cake and flowers over and it couldn't have been more perfect. I think you will be happy with this choice. One thing that you could do is, the night you want your welcome dinner.....go to Bugumvilias (sp) and let them know you have a party of whatever...you will wait a few minutes, but I am sure you will have no problems. I probably need to get busy with a review.....hmmm....maybe when I get back on August 13th from my next vacation. I will see. If you have any more questions for me, please feel free to ask. I will send a couple more pictures in a few minutes ) Nicole

Hi Melissa, What I did was create a calendar for the week with 4 "free" days, plus the wedding day schedule, and then I planned two tours for the group to do as a whole. In addition to that, I had a welcome dinner on the first day all guests arrived. We had 22 of us there and I would do it the same way again. We had a blast! Just enough group days to see everyone and visit and enough free days for everyone to go on their own and do their vacation thing. I heard nothing but positive remarks from everyone! I was worried about a couple of our guests having a great time - and I was even able to please them with the resort. It was great! I honestly do not think anyone can make a bad decision by having their wedding and group of guests coming to Moon Palace. You will have a lot of fun! Nicole

Just a couple of pictures for you guys! Pookie - you and your husband look wonderful! I hope everything was what you expected plus some. Pookie is right about her comments - everything will turn out perfect. They are a well running machine over there and all the pre-stress is not even worth it. Take care, Nicole

Hi - I am back! Dez, you are truly a sweetheart! Thanks for sending the flowers ) Dolly didn't even show her face ) No signs at all and actually nothing but major sunshine - not even 5 minutes of rain the entire 8 days were there. Everything went flawless! From the moment we arrived (1 day before all the guests) to the day we left. The ceremony was more than I ever could have asked for. The only regret I have is that I was VERY emotional and if I wasn't some of the pictures would have turned out better. For those of you who have any worries - the Wedding Department has all of this nailed! The resort photographer was absolutely fantastic and took alot of pictures! The WC was awesome. I have alot of pictures and will post later. We just got home super late last night and I just wanted to post something this morning. I will start posting some pictures in a little while. I appreciate the thoughts! Take care and will be back soon! Nicole

What I mean is for MP guests only? TIA! Hi Tia, If the beach isn't private, I do not know where any other people would come from. All the times I have been to Moon Palace (many) I do not recall any resorts nearby or at least any that would share the beach. Moon is very huge just like Dez stated. So to answer your question....yes, Moon beach should be for Moon guests only. Also, if your wedding is on the beach, they would have it segregated from everyone anyway. Nicole

Thanks Pookie - you guys have fun - do not forget in all this to have fun! That is a very important part in having the day a success. Also, if you are around on Saturday,(next) please feel free to come join the ceremony. I know it will be nice and worth it - I just can't wait to get to Cancun and get all this pre-travel stress over and done with. Take care, Nicole

Hi Melissa, I sincerely appreciate your thoughts! I know I have been married forever, but this is our first wedding and believe it or not, I am having serious doubts on if this was a good idea - the wedding, that is. I am in this thread and enjoy providing and receiving information, but honestly I know I am the only one in here already married. I wish you guys all the luck with your weddings and I hope they are all you want and more. Married life is good and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have and do. Take care! Nicole

Hi Dez - yes I did see your other thread. You know EVERYONE has bumps - and some have some before and some have them after - but definetly everyone has them. No going around it. Carlos made a comment to me the other day and said all this wedding stuff is making him nervous and if he hadn't been married to me already 20 years he would be freaked out. We all "freak out" in our owns ways. And....yes, we can survive. I read all of the other suggestions people were giving you and can't really add to them too much. I have been married a long time and I can tell you to just ride the wave. You will get through this ) And you are right - right now the best thing to do is not let him know you are very involved in the wedding stuff - but still stalk us! I've missed having you around in here. Keep your chin up Nicole

HI Sharla! Welcome back! Your pictures are wonderful and you look stunning! I hope everything turned out as great as you wanted. I am going with the less hassle approach of the resort phtographer as well - yours and Betsy's pictures turned out great! Congratulations and thanks for sharing your pics! Nicole
