  6. Are you guys getting as overwhelmed as me? i feel Like the weeks are flying by and I have a ton of DIY projects to do still!!!!!!!! I am having a hard time finding nice sandals for FI. We originally were going to keep it more casual but now he is wearing a white linen suit and I am not sure that flip flops would look that good. all the sandals i found on Zappos that I like are way to expensive. Any of you have any ideas where to look?

  13. I was just wondering what people were planning for a back home recpetion. We are getting married in Februaury '09 and were thinking to do something in the begining of summer. Do you think to much time will have passed? How soon do any of you brides plan on doing your back home reception? Also, does anybody plan on wearing there wedding dress again back home?
  14. This will come in handy. I sooooooooo needed something like this to organize myself better. thanks!!!

How many ladies do we think we have total that are interested?
  16. I would love to get in on this. I am getting married in Feb. 2009. I am way behind in planning and the boudoir pics were way at the end of the list right now but if we can coordinate something soon you can count me in. Keep me updated. I 'll try to get some info on photograhpers.
  17. Just in case anyone wants to dance salsa for their first dance I see some of you do...beware that it will be REALLY hard with a fitted dress, and with a puffy dress you won't be able to see much of the footwork. I am a salsa dancer and we decided to do a salsa dance at the welcome dinner instead so I can wear something that is easier to dance in and people can see my feet and legs (that is the sexy part of the dance). Just keep that in mind!! Thanks for sharing. Any suggestions on music with a latin flair? We are getting marrried in mexico and are just starting to take dance lessons.
  18. Thanks for the advise ladies. We are still torn about having a DJ or bringing our own music. it is just sooooooo expensive for the DJ. Buying a good quality speaker is a good idea, because you will use time after time.
  19. I am also getting married at the Barcelo in Mexico. I have just been sitting down and planning the details of the wedding and adding up costs and i can't believe what all the extras cost!!! I am also frustrated. i want an outside DJ, because they were cheaper ,then their $500 plus 2 hour DJ, w/out a dance floor. They want to charge $30 per our, PER PLUG, for use of their electricity. i would see if you can buy a guitar or even rent one locally. I probably would come out cheaper in the long run.
