I've been too busy dreaming about the house we are trying to buy. But I'm sure that when it gets closer I will have plenty of dreams that have something to do with getting to my wedding and not being able to. I always have dreams about trying so hard to get somewhere and not being able to get there Bachata, your dream was hilarious!!

I have not read this book, but I know Kate Winslet will be playing the lead role in the movie that is coming out sometime soon. This might be a good combination of character development and history. It is called THE READER - a Novel by BERNHARD SCHLINK. It was in Oprah's Book Club. The trailer of the movie made me want to read the book, so it might be a great one. I am not sure about LC, but if you search for it using the search function, I know a ton of girls on here have gotten married there. If I remember correctly, their pictures were amazing too, so you might be in luck with that location. If not, Punta Cana and the other places you listed are very beautiful as well. Good luck

These are all such cute ideas. This may be a silly question, but do people do these things (sparklers, bubbles, ribbons) as you walk back down the isle as a couple? I have never been to a DW and I know at traditional weddings this happens when the B&G leave the location to get in their car, so I was curious about the DWs.

I am feeling the same way. I am in my final exam week of a grad program, so I haven't had much time to enjoy anything at all, let alone getting into the Holiday spirit. FI actually made me put up my tree and lights last weekend because I am usually very into it and he could tell I wasn't this year. I think he was trying to get me into the festive mood I am usually in by Halloween Hopefully after these exams are complete (and the weather here in NC gets cold again) it will feel more like the Holidays!
