The best quote I've gotten so far is from the group specialists at the Flight Centre. I haven't signed on with anyone yet though...I'm waiting to get my quote back from Pauline Blacoe before deciding. After reading this though, I'm not sure if I should work with her...?

Welcome Kelly! You are going to love this place. I don't know anything about Maui, but the places you listed in Cabo are amazing! I know that the One&Only Palmilla and Esperanze are probably more pricey, and that Dreams is likely more affordable, but other than that, that's all I really know. Anywhere you choose in Cabo will be beautiful!

We stayed at an AI and took 300-400 with us, but didn't come close to spending all of it. We ate out once, did a ATV ride, and a sunset boat cruise, and didn't pay for anything else (including transportation to and from the airport).

I've totally had this happen to me...my skin gets really irritated by stuff like that. One time it even turned to scabs, but that wasn't that bad because you couldn't really see them. The redness shouldn't last that long, just keep applying the ointment like everyone else said. That's all you can do! And I definitely wouldn't go back there...it must be something about the wax they use, the temperature it's at, or the cream they apply before or after.

Yeah I believe they are from the UK. I've seen them a couple of times in concert and I couldn't really hear what the lead singer was saying when he would talk to the crowd...but I'm pretty sure I heard an accent!

I love the first dress! I just saw it in my new InStyle Weddings mag, and I totally marked it becuase I like it for sure. Is the price seriously $499? Wow! Your man is going to love whatever you wear...if there's one thing I've learned about boys, it's that they don't have a very good "vision" of what things look like on. They just don't get it!

My ceremony and reception are going to be at the Imperial Suite at the Fiesta Americana (I think). Still working out the details, but I'm 99% sure that's where we'll be. We are definitely 100% staying at the Riu Palace though!

Based on your necessities, I don't know if the Riu is the right place to have your ceremony and reception. It is not on a swimmable beach, and the water isn't totally bright blue. I have a feeling the gazebo is pretty private, as I didn't see it when I was staying at the Riu last October, but this was before I was engaged so I wasn't totally paying attention to that stuff I'm doing what sassybride is doing - we are all staying at the Riu all week as it's a really fun resort and is a great place to vacation, but I'm having the ceremony and reception off-site. I think you might want to look into this if you're feeling uneasy...

I'm going to have 2 wedding bands as well, because my bands are very thin, so I'm going to stack them (they are thin eternity bands). I think it would be easy to incorporate both into the ceremony, but if not, you can always just have one as your "true" one, and the other is just an extra...?

You should be able to get whole-wheat flour at any grocery store. I make chocolate chip cookies with whole-wheat flour all the time! If anyone tries this recipe with the WW flour, let us know how it comes out!
