I was quoted $105 per person for 5 hours of open bar at the Imperial Suite at Fiesta Americana (bar only, no food included). I thought it was way too crazy for the number of guests we were having so we ended up doing our wedding at Dreams where it was much cheaper!

Karen you are going to LOVE him! Honestly he is so much fun and such a nice guy. Plus he's obviously incredibly talented. His passion will rub off on you! I can't wait to see how your pics turn out! Hi there, and welcome! Before I switched to Dreams, I was planning my wedding at the Fiesta Americana (in the Imperial Suite). It's a gorgeous property but the prices are a little crazy, and they aren't great with negotiating. If you have the money though, your wedding will be amazing! There is no way to get around the music curfew - it's a Los Cabos law, not just the Fiesta Americana. You will find the same rule at all Cabo resorts. Search the forum as a couple of brides have had their wedding at the FA, and you'll find lots of reviews and pictures on here. Happy Planning!

I wanted to review my photographer separately, because he was the best decision we made for our wedding. After I had a rocky experience with the first photographer I hired, I decided to forfeit my deposit and go on the hunt for a new one. As soon as I saw Fer’s website and blog, I knew he was the photographer for us. I can’t even put into words how amazing Fer is and how unbelievably blown away by him we are. He went WAY above and beyond what we hired him for, and his pictures are like nothing I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t be happier with our choice. He is such an incredibly friendly and upbeat guy as well – he got along great with all of our wedding guests, and everyone was as blown away with him as we were. After he finished shooting our reception, he went and put together a slideshow and screened it for all of our guests in the disco about an hour later. It was amazing. The slideshow has over 250 awesome pictures – I can’t wait to see the rest he took! He has so much passion for what he does, and it totally shows. He was a pleasure to work with and I wish we had a reason for him to come shoot us again, because he’s just that good! I recommend him 100000%! I mean what other photographer would lie down in the middle of a busy Cabo highway just to get a shot?! (click on the pick to make it bigger if it's showing up small). I love everything! Your inspiration board is gorgeous and all of your stuff fits in perfectly with that, so I know your wedding will be beautiful. I can't wait to see how it all comes out! Have a great time!

My faves were: Chips and guac (obviously) Margherita pizza at the poolside restaurant for lunch Creamy tomato soup and caprese salad at Portofino - also the cheese tortellini Pancakes for breakfast!

Tammy - the tortilla soup is SO GOOD! Also I loved the creamy tomato soup at Portofino. I agree that the steaks are sooooo good at Dreams as well; I'm a steak snob and it was the of the better ones I've had.

Wow, I can't believe they broke into safes! That is so awful! I'm glad you warned other brides. Congrats on your wedding.

M and his mom danced to "Unforgettable" - it was her choice.

Carly - the CB2 one posted above is the one we used to have until about a month ago! You can see it in my facebook pics - "home sweet home" if you want to see what it looks like in a "real" room. I still have the pillow shams if you want them, they are in great shape.

I think Montreal probably gets a mix of overcast AND sunny. It's kinda impossible to predict! I think a white Christmas isn't guaranteed but it snows more often than not. I don't think this helped at all! Hehe sorry...

You should be able to get a free upgrade to a honeymoon suite by holding your wedding there. Most Dreams Cabo brides I know had this (including myself). Just ask your WC at Dreams. I think it was definitely worth it as we had a lot of extra stuff, and the additional room in the suite came in handy for sure.

They're great! You guys are such a cute couple. I love the skate park/graffiti ones.
