Yep I'd say so. It's on our news a lot because really, what happens in the US affects us because we're so close. Plus a lot of our media is from the US so we get Fox and CNN and MSNBC and all of that stuff too. It's hard to get away from the US election right now, it's everywhere!

We're expecting 70ish people as well and I was thinking the same type of thing. A little gift bag with a welcome letter in it and maybe a couple of beachy goodies, and a spanish phrases for dummies book (if I can find them really cheap). One bag per couple or one bag per single person. Hopefully that won't cost too much. I'm not including any drinks or snacks since we're staying at an AI so everything is available and free anyway!

I hate the line-up pictures too. That's why I picked Kristie as my photographer...she tends to come up with more original and creative ideas. I know my mom will want some "family shots" though so if we have to take any of those, they'll probably just go to her. But hopefully we can make them somewhat unique and artistic!

Did about 4.75K this morning on the treadmill...I only had 30 mins so that's the best I could do!

YES wear a hair flower! And I think any kind would work. The kind she has in the pic is beautiful but I think a normal flower could work too, maybe a bit lower by your ear...

I finally ordered my dress on Saturday! Wooo! The flowers around the waist are part of a customized belt I'm doing, they didn't come with the dress. I'm so excited! So here it is, I'm posing with my mom: Feels so good to have this done, even though I still have lots of time to go...

I ran 8K yesterday! Woooo! But then I ate like a complete pig last night so I'm sure any benefit from my run was erased. I gotta stop doing that.
