  1. Does anyone know of any villas that you can rent for just one night (that don't have a 3 or 5 or 7 night minimum stay)? I'm pricing out other villa alternatives to have our reception at but everything I've found so far has a minimum stay.
  2. I'm so glad things have worked out! It feels amazing once you get the details finalized. Finisterra is going to be gorgeous!
  3. Good Luck Martha! Make sure you share pics of Noah as soon as you can

  7. LOL, I heard that too. I love how on that show, nobody gets away with anything. They call everyone on their assy behaviour! SO good.
  8. Heather - I will be thinking about you and your family. Hugs.
  9. I was going to write exactly what Erin said - but she said it way better than I would have Way to go Erin.
  10. Great stuff! Can't wait to see how it all comes together in a couple of weeks!
  11. Come on people! Pasta isn't really junk food is it? I know it's carbs and everything, but junk food is JUNK food. Am I wrong? Please tell me I'm right. I love pasta!
  12. Hi Girls, Ana's work has blocked Photobucket (whaaaat?!) so she couldn't post this picture for you, and asked me to do it for her. Do any of you know what this font is called? Or where you can get it? I know she'd really appreciate your help!
  13. Here's mine (like Alyssa, in no particular order): 1. Kraft Dinner (mac and cheese) 2. Cookies 3. Wendy's 4. Coke 5. Easter treats - the cadbury creme eggs and mini eggs kill me!
  14. I just read the product description on Amazon for Artie's Book and now I'm even more excited!!!! It's gonna be so good. Too Fat to Fish by Artie Lange Outrageous, raw, and painfully funny true stories straight from the life of the actor, comedian, and much-loved cast member of The Howard Stern Show—with a foreword by Howard Stern. When Artie Lange joined the permanent cast of The Howard Stern Show in 2001, it was possibly the greatest thing ever to happen in the Stern universe, second only to the show’s move to the wild, uncensored frontier of satellite radio. Lange provided what Stern had yet to find all in the same place: a wit quick enough to keep pace with his own, a pathetic self-image to dwarf his own, a personal history both heartbreaking and hilarious, and an ingrained sense of self-sabotage that continually keeps things interesting. A natural storyteller with a bottomless pit of material, Lange grew up in a close-knit, working-class Italian family in Union, New Jersey, a maniacal Yankees fan who pursued the two things his father said he was cut out for—sports and comedy. Tragically, Artie Lange Sr. never saw the truth in that prediction: He became a quadriplegic in an accident when Artie was eighteen and died soon after. But as with every trial in his life, from his drug addiction to his obesity to his fights with his mother, Artie mines the humor, pathos, and humanity in these events and turns them into comedy classics. True fans of the Stern Show will find Artie gold in these pages: hilarious tales that couldn’t have happened to anyone else. There are stories from his days driving a Jersey cab, working as a longshoreman in Port Newark, and navigating the dark circuit of stand-up comedy. There are outrageous episodes from the frenzied heights of his coked-up days at MADtv, surprisingly moving stories from his childhood, and an account of his recent U.S.O. tour that is equally stirring and irreverent. But also in this volume are stories Artie’s never told before, including some that he deemed too revealing for radio. Wild, shocking, and drop-dead hilarious, TOO FAT TO FISH is Artie Lange giving everything he’s got to give. And like a true pro, the man never disappoints.
  15. I agree with Becks but since she's already been nominated, I'm going to throw out a new name for the Mrs Nomination - how about Erica (Cessyboston)? For the Bride I propose Danielle (DanielleNDerek).
  16. Of course I will! Crappy thing is that we found out last night we probably can't move until the Friday now instead of the Thursday, which is the night we're going to see Artie! So we're going to have to rush through the move and somehow get enough energy to head out to the show! I know we'll be able to do it but it's just not the optimal situation I guess
  17. Yeah we'll definitely get Artie's book. We're going to see him 2 weeks from tomorrow here in Toronto, I can't wait! I heard that after you can try to see him and get your pic taken with him...honestly, that would make Matie's life! I hope we can do that! How did you talk to Greg after the show? Did you go hang out by the backstage area or something? When we were in Vegas after we got engaged, we saw a poster in our hotel elevator saying that Jim Florentine was performing one night while we were there. We were totally going to go but it was pretty expensive...we wouldn't pay to see Jim but we're totally paying to see Artie. I have a soft spot for him!
  18. I would love to go to dinner with Artie. He has such an interesting life. I want to just jump in and "save him" somehow...he seems like he needs to be saved... Andrea are you going to get Artie's book when it comes out?
  19. OK here it is! Howard Stern Chat Thread
  20. OK Ladies! I think we beat the "Howard Stern and Beth O. Marry" thread to death. Time to devote an entire thread to talking about our favourite Sirius show! Let the posting begin! Did anybody listen this week? I think tonight is the night that Howard is going to dinner with Sal, Artie, and Fred (was there someone else? I forget) to make Beth jealous. Can't wait to hear about that on Monday!
  21. I really think I should start a Stern chat thread...would you guys take part? I mean we aren't even discussing the wedding anymore
  22. Very well said Sunbride! I was going to type something similar last night but I was too sleepy and you did a WAY better job than I would have anyway! I'm crossing my fingers that things turn around for the dollar sooner than later!
  23. Nicole! Your dress is amazing!! It's PERFECT with the boots for your rustic theme. I love love love!!!! And it looks SO good on you too!
  24. I'm a dummy, you meant that icon thing, duh.... I love all the songs! They're so good.
