    Yep Holly, they were lit, and were in a lantern thing it looks like, or maybe those are even wine glasses or something? Here is a pic but I have to take it down in like 10 mins since it's stolen from my friend's facebook and I don't want to post it on a forum with no permission. I should also mention that the bride carried a bouquet of just feathers and it looked awesome.

    I saw on FB last week that one of my friends who got married a week before Christmas had her bridesmaids carry big candles. It looked really cool but would only work indoors obviously.

    We did ours non-private also - we just went to Portofino early (6pm) and got 3 tables of 8. It was a little different for us since there was the hurricane, so Portofino was the only restaurant open other than the indoor buffet, and it wasn't serving Italian food that night. But the food was delicious and we were on the patio so we were basically the only people back there. It was perfect.

    If it's ridiculous and inaccurate then I think you should just ignore it. Whoever said it is obviously just dumb or jealous, so just move on and try to pretend like it never happened. If you let it get you upset, they win.

    Ouch, that is really brutal. I'd be pissed and I'd want to know who wrote that for sure. If your site is weddingwindow, you can see the IP address on the visitor log. Try not to let it bother you or put a cloud over the nice happy warm comments people have left. Those are the people that matter.

    You likely won't be walking far if you're just walking to the ceremony location, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I got married at Dreams and I wore flip flops for the ceremony so I can't say for sure what it feels like to be barefoot...but for our TTD the next day I walked on the sand in my bare feet and didn't notice anything really bad. The temperature is something to think about though if you are getting married mid-day - it will be HOT!
