  1. Don't worry about it! It's just because I've already been engaged for awhile - we wanted to give our guests tons of notice so we sent the STD's really early and chose a later wedding date. You still have SO much time!
  2. YAY Legal Day! Have a great time and make sure to tell us all about it!
  3. CASEY! Your dress is soooo gorgeous! It looks amazing on you. I love love LOVE it! In my opinion I don't think you need anything to bling it up but if you want to, I think it would look great too. But it's incredible just the way it is. Stu is going to die when he sees you in that dress!
  4. Welcome to the Forum! We are staying at the Riu Palace in Cabo but are getting married at the Imperial Suite at Fiesta Americana. There is tons of info on here about both Cabo and Cancun! Happy Planning!
  5. Wow, you are gorgeous! I love all of your photos. Congrats on a beautiful wedding!
  6. Hey Jen - I chose the Riu for my guests to stay at instead of Dreams because a) it is cheaper, and I was trying to get the best rate for my guests, and it is a bit more of a "party" atmosphere. Dreams is a bit smaller and I would feel like my group was disrupting everything (we're going to have probably 60-70 people and a lot of them are party animals) but at the Riu I think we would fit in better. Plus like nanner431 mentioned, the Riu is really close to downtown which is always a plus for guests. I think Dreams is beautiful though and every wedding I've seen there is absolutely gorgeous. If you have a more tame group and if you are OK with them spending $300-500 or so more per person, Dreams is a great choice too!
  7. Samantha you looked AMAZING!!! I absolutely love love LOVE your dress, it's so hot! What designer is it? Do you have any close up pics of your hair (since we seem to have identical hair) - it looked gorgeous! And I love your BM dresses too! Gorgeous gorgeous. I can't wait to see more pics - please post more or email them to me! And I want to see your video too! Congrats on a beautiful wedding!
  8. The next thing on my list is invitations. We should be getting the design back sometime in January, and I'm hoping to send them out in Feb/March. I want the responses back by April so that I have enough time to plan with more accurate guest numbers (although they're never really 100% accurate until everyone is on the plane I guess!). In the spring I'm going to start hunting for bridesmaid dresses, wedding shoes, and suits for the guys. And booking the honeymoon. A lot of the other stuff has to wait until later. October is going to come SO fast!

Welcome to the Forum from another T.O. bride!
  10. Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to the Forum! You'll find lots of ideas and information here.
  11. I think the dress looks amazing on you! It's super pretty! Maybe you're just too "used" to it. I bet once you have your hair and makeup done, and veil on (if you're having one), you'll love it again.
  12. I think they must ship to Canada because I know my friend got some last year and I'm pretty sure they were shipped to her here in Toronto....
  13. I agree. Nothing about them is private, not even her fake boobs. So why hide a marriage certificate? Unless Heidi and Spencer aren't their real names and they don't want anyone to know, haha. They bug me so much.
  14. It's snowing like crazy! I made it into work but my boss told me to go home early later on. The office is like a ghost town today, I think a lot of people stayed home. I want to stay home tonight and watch Christmas movies!
  15. What a cute way to propose! I wanted to do personalized m&m's too...my friend got them for her bf for their one year anniversary and I thought they were adorable! Plus I love m&m's. But I think our favors are going to be little s'mores kits instead. I love this idea though! You should totally do it!
  16. Very pretty, and a great price! Are you going to post your new dress in the wedding dress thread?
  17. I would use a ceramic curling iron. Spray the piece of hair first with spray gel, and then curl it - hopefully that will work!
  18. Welcome to the Forum! Congrats on your upcoming wedding!
  19. Wow Kerry, that is amazing! Have a great time during your site visit!
  20. Your e-pics are so awesome! Is that Springbank park? It's so pretty in the fall. Love the hockey pics too! Great idea!
  21. I love your inspiration boards! I need you to make a better one for me!
  22. I kinda agree with you Rachel! how come we never see them doing anything that isn't "arranged?" How come we never see Heidi without full hair and makeup? It's just too unreal.
  23. Ha - it just keeps on comin': Did Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Fake Their Wedding Scene? By Ken Lee UpdatePosted Wednesday December 17, 2008 03:30 PM EST Originally posted Wednesday December 17, 2008 01:30 PM EST Did Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt take thee viewer for a ride? A preview clip of next week's finale of MTV's The Hills shows the couple, who say they eloped in Mexico, apparently making it official in a courthouse. The pair are seen entering the courtroom as a judge smiles down on them, with Pratt's sister, Stephanie Pratt, in attendance. "I, Heidi, take thee, Spencer," Montag says in the clip. A court spokesman says MTV was recently granted permission to film at the Beverly Hill courthouse, but it was done after hours, and the judge in the scene is not one of the court's judges. Addressing the controversy while speaking to Ryan Seacrest in a segment that will air Monday on KISS-FM's On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Pratt said of the legal documents, "We checked the confidentiality box, so good luck people [in finding out]." Civil ceremonies are sometimes performed at the Beverly Hills courthouse, but not in the manner portrayed in the brief preview, spokesman Allan Parachini tells the Associated Press, adding that if a judge does preside, it's typically in chambers during a break. Also, as of yet, there is no record of any marriage license for the couple in L.A. County, according to Sid Keating of the L.A. Registrar's office, although any couple can request their license to remain private. An MTV rep wasn't immediately available for comment.
