    That's what we're doing. My brother is performing our symbolic ceremony in Mexico but we'll secretly do the paperwork here, and I don't think he'll bother getting ordained (but we'll tell people he was if they ask).

    You can totally make it happen! We're getting married in Cabo in October and I'm sure you can still find lots of resorts/venues with open dates! Just narrow it down to a few places that you like and see which one (maybe all) are available. Good luck!

    Hey Shanny, how are you doing it in Cabo? We are thinking of doing a "photobooth" polaroid station - but if there were REAL photobooths that weren't crazy expensive I'd love to have it too!

    I've never been to Dreams, but I have a feeling that weddings at the Riu Palace probably have to shut down at 10:30 as well. Most places in Cabo have that rule. You could always stay at the Riu Palace and have your wedding at a non-resort location, like a restaurant such as Sunset Da Mona Lisa or something? That would probably be much pricier though. There are a TON of Dreams brides on here so you can be assured that it's a beautiful resort and that the weddings there are amazing!

    I was quoted $13 pp (includes gratuity) roundtrip from Riu Palace to Fiesta Americana.

    I think the price depends on the distance you're travelling. You should contact them for a quote - but they are very very reasonable compared to the other quotes I've gotten from other companies!

    Are you stuck on Riviera Maya? We're having our ceremony and reception in a villa-type location, on the grass, not on the sand, but it's in Cabo. Let me know if you want more info on it.
