  1. Ran 12K with my group this morning. I'm still feelin it, I think I need a nap!
  2. Wow that pic is great! I can't wait for my shoot!
  3. My parents brought some back from Hawaii a long time ago, and they LOVED it! It smells sweet like brown sugar. I wanted to eat it. I can't tell you how well it works though because my skin doesn't tan very well, no matter WHAT I use on it!
  4. Ran 5K this morning. I feel like I've been slacking on the running thing lately...
  5. This is a great question! I'll be interested in reading any responses as well... Anyone??

  7. I think it will depend on what bra/support you wear underneath. If you have something really pumping you up it might not be that appropriate, but if it's just natural cleavage I think it will look OK. I definitely think we need to see before we can offer our true opinions
  8. I think it's fine. Like Erika, my FI and a bunch of his friends and our dads are playing a super expensive golf course in Cabo. It's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime thing and I think it's nice for them all to have some "guy bonding" time and a nice memory he'll have forever.
  9. Thanks everyone! It feels so good to have this one checked off my list! Now I just keep waiting and waiting for the RSVP's to roll in...
  10. I wanted to show you guys our invitations because we're so excited about them! We knew we wanted to do something "different" but we didn't really know what, until the idea hit me one day. It makes sense because both Matie and I are huuuuge music lovers and we go to tons of concerts. As soon as I suggested the idea to him he was REALLY excited (and not much about the planning excites him!). We started working on them months and months ago (we went through a company here who specializes in concert posters) and we finally agreed on the design and had them printed in March. I think they turned out even better than we could have imagined! Our colours are grey, blush, and black, but for the poster we decided to make the grey metallic (so it's actually silver) just because it made it look higher quality. Our theme is "retro-glam." We didn't need to put a ton of information on them as we already have all of the details on our website. We also asked guests to RSVP to the website so we didn't have to include response cards. Here is the poster: I held it up to Nixon so you can see how big the poster is. It's 12x18. The quality of this pic isn't great but you get the idea! I rolled the poster up and put a ribbon around it with a piece of cardstock with the guest's name on it. We hand delivered most of them like this. We tried to hand deliver as many as we could as they are crazy expensive to mail, but we still had to mail some of them. We put them in poster tubes and I printed address labels in the same font as I used on the cardstock. That's it! Hope you guys like them as much as we do!
  11. I booked Oxten, if that helps. They have been great to work with so far.
  12. Great stuff! Your welcome boxes were amazing, I love the tequila idea!
  13. I think there are a couple of other threads on this - have you tried searching? The only companies I can think of off the top of my head are Del Cabo Events and Oxten. Try searching for either of those in this forum and you'll get some info.
  14. Kate I did Shred level 2 today for the first time too! Way harder than level one. I didn't have a proper mat set up so I was really pissed about all the plank stuff.
  15. Hehe, thanks MJL! I'm actually not that fit. I was surprised when I saw that pic too...I think the photog did something to them, haha! Really though I think it's the heels. Heels do wonders for a gal's legs
  16. ANA! I loooove your review. I'm so so happy that everything turned out so amazingly well (especially since I'm using most of the same vendors as you, minus Dreams) and I'm super sad I wasn't able to make it there. Your pictures are incredible so far and I can't wait to see Juan's too, like everyone else! Congratulations and thanks for posting such a detailed review, it really helped set my mind at ease and I'm sure a ton of other brides too! You were the prettiest bride I've ever seen!
  17. Wow, the location was gorgeous! Can't wait to see wedding pics!
  18. Here is mine - the girls are going to wear black belts around them: Apparel, Handbags, Shoes and Accessories for Women and Men | Banana Republic
  19. Wow Mel! Your pictures are amazing!! You are smokin!

How much is an average wedding there? As for Ana's vendors I know she posted a thread awhile ago with the vendors she was using: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t22520 Hope that helps.
  21. I haven't been to the Santa Fe but I have been to the Riu Palace, and didn't have any problems. Just make sure you put anything you really care about in the safe and you'll be fine!
  22. After hearing about the garbage they pack into most pet foods, and how it's cooked at such a high temperature that all of the nutrients are "killed" anyway, we decided to switch to a raw food diet. We use The Ultimate Diet and it's pretty easy...we just thaw out his food in a couple of tupperwares every 2 days or so. He LOVES it and you can definitely see the difference in his digestive system. It's obvious that most of the food gets absorbed into his body instead of passing out in his you-know-what. He used to go to the bathroom 2-3 times per day and now he goes once per day or every other day.
