We luckily haven't had any issues (yet)...but FI's parents demanded to know how much my parents were contributing before they told us how much they'd contribute. And even then, they decided to contribute 1/4 the amount. So I don't know why they cared so much...??

My FI got his suit (Hugo Boss) from Harry Rosen as well. Now is the perfect time because all of the light-weight "summery" suits are out! We justified the price because his suit is grey and he will wear it MANY times after the wedding I'm sure!

I just moved to Toronto 4 years ago (from London ON) and although yes, there are some rude people, I think in general people are very nice here! The only time you really encounter the rudies are during the rush hour commute. Everyone is busy so it's hard to not get pissed off at people that block doors on the TTC etc. But in general I'd say compared to the states, TO is still very polite! I actually get a tad annoyed when I go back to London now because everyone moves sooooo slow! If you're in a rush (and I always am), you're screwed! I love when I visit out west though. It's a different pace, it's nice. I'm not sure I could work/live there but maybe when I'm retired I could! For now I'm an east-coster I think! Let's accept each other's provinces for both their good and bad qualities and call it a day

Hey girls - I think there is another thread for Oct 2009 brides...I'll have to go find it. Anyway, I'm Oct 22, 2009 in Cabo! But with the swine flu crap who knows if we'll be able to have it there or not...if this continues into the summer I'm going to have to come up with a plan B!

Points to note from the cases in Canada: -Neither man's illness (the 2 in Alberta) was severe enough that he had to be hospitalized. - 3 of the 4 cases in Nova Scotia now have a clean bill of health. The fourth is "recovering nicely and we expect he will be released today." -"In actual fact, the swine flu may have a death rate that's similar to seasonal influenza." Just wanted to share the points showing that this is not really any worse than a normal flu.

I did Level 2 again this morning and I was sweating like a pig! I think if I was doing it more than once a week I'd be seeing more results (it's hard to find the time with my running schedule). I'm going to try to do it much more over the next 2 1/2 weeks before my BD shoot! Carly I think it's totally worth it to get it - it's pretty cheap, and it's definitely effective depending on how much effort you put in. Jillian really does know what she's doing but I think it's up to you how much effort you put into each move and how often you do the workouts, etc...

My heart is totally breaking for you! I'm so sorry that your wedding has fallen right in the middle of all of this flu crap. I agree with what everyone else has said - try to make the most of it and focus on yourself and your FI, and how romantic it could be to tie the knot just the two of you. I also think maybe a 1 year anniversary/vow renewal trip could be super fun too. There is a silver lining somewhere.... Big hugs to you!!!!!!!!

Hahaha, too funny! She will get better as she gets older...Nixon was a TERROR when he was a puppy. He's totally lazy now most of the time. He sleeps like 23 hours a day!
