I've had this happen. I just told FI that I found them because I knew he probably didn't even know he still had them. I didn't tell him to throw them out, but I just said that if he wanted to keep them, maybe he could put them in a box in our storage unit or something so that they aren't hanging around in our home in front of my face. I left it up to him what he wanted to do and he did end up throwing them out anyway - this girl had been contacting him non-stop while we were dating so I think he didn't really have any fond memories of her left anyway! In my opinion you have to let him decide - don't throw them out for him.

Andrea, we watch Weeds and we're at the same place as you! The show airs waaay later here in Canada, and we never know when or what channel it's on, so we just wait for the DVD's to come out and then we buy them. I think Season 4 just came out but we have like 2 eps left in season 3 so we need to finish that first. I think Season 5 just started in the US. We've heard that Season 4 and 5 are a little far-fetched and that the first few seasons are the best so we're starting to lose interest a little

No, that was the price he gave if you guarantee you'll have a minimum of 50 people. I sent an email to their regular email address I found on the main page, and Mario is the one who responded to me with that price. You have to pay 50% now though so you need to be sure you'll have at least 50 people I think.

Great info. I got a price of $35 per person if I guaranteed 50 people. But now I think I will have less than that for the cruise so it's good to know it's just a little bit higher per person. Thanks for sharing!

We're not using a chuppah or anything at the altar. We're going to have something hanging off the arm of the each aisle chair (DIY). I want to have an aisle runner with some petals on it but I haven't figured that out yet, i.e. whether we bring it, or rent it from somewhere?? But at the front of the altar it will just be us and the officiant (my brother)!

CHI 100%! I would die without my Chi. My hair is really difficult in humidity etc and the CHI is the only thing that's ever worked! Chi chi chi!

I think the advantage is blocking the space. It would really suck to wait until a month before and then find out that they only have 10 rooms at the resort left and you need 30. Plus, my TA told us that if the rate went down between the time we booked (over a year before the wedding) and 60 days before our travel, they would honour the lower rate. So that takes some of the risk out of it. If you want to gamble, sure you can maybe find it cheaper by waiting. But I'd never gamble that much for our wedding. That's just me though!
