You'll find out through searching this forum that a LOT of people have issues with Sunquest. Your situation could be worse, even though it does still suck. Sunquest cancelled my trips altogether, and expected me to delay our wedding 2 weeks after we'd already planned everything. So we had to re-book flights and hotel separately on our own, and now we have a layover too. Our travel is going to take around 12 hours and we have to connect in Mexico City and go through customs so it's not even close to ideal. We had a couple of guests cancel because of this, but there's nothing we can do. It's their loss! Just update your website with the new info and hopefully your guests won't give you any crap as it's really out of your hands. Sunquest is one of the worst tour operators in my opinion but unfortunately they are sometimes the only operator for Cabo depending on your hotel

That song is actually my dad and my song too! BUT, we tried dancing to it at my brother's wedding, and it's really hard to dance to, unless you have a guitarist play it or something so they can slow it down. We scratched it off our list as soon as that was over because it was waaaay too hard - it's an in between speed that's really difficult. If you want to do it anyway, just make sure you practice first! And really, who gives a crap about the lyrics - if it's "your song" that's what makes it special

We're just going to have a box as well - no cigar roller. I haven't seen any inspiration pics of this yet but I think it would be pretty simple to put together.

I use the Mac blot powder also, but my face isn't overall shiny - just my chin and nose really. It works perfectly fine for those areas! It lasts me for a long time too.

I find I get better response times if I only put 1 or 2 questions in an email instead of 5 or 6 or 10. That also ensures they actually answer everything I ask. Try that maybe?

This would really really suck. I don't see Mexico doing this as it would really dampen the tourism. Fingers and toes are both crossed.

Hey Angela - I got my nose pierced at 24 and I just took it out in March - so I had it for about 5 years. I took it out because I felt like I was getting a bit too old for it (no offense to anyone who has one and is older...it's just how I feel about myself) and also, I didn't want to have it in my wedding pics. I had the tiniest little stud you could ever find, but you still saw it in pics and I really didn't want that. I just felt like I had to grow up at some point To be honest, I'm really glad I took it out! It was fun having it while I did though!

Angela we had the same issue as you in the beginning. We initially chose the Riu because it was SO much cheaper for our guests (like $600 cheaper per person...$1200 per couple. That's a LOT if you ask me!). But then we had some issues with our travel plans last month and re-priced things and Dreams came out at the same price we had before for the Riu, so we switched. In my opinion, Dreams weddings are nicer. Riu is a great, fun resort though! Your guests will love either...I would pay more attention to where you want your wedding to be. I think Dreams is much more open about bringing in outside vendors as well. I'm not using any package at Dreams...I'm bringing in everything on my own (flowers, cupcakes, furniture rental, hair stylist). I think the Riu wouldn't have let me do that. So it's totally dependent on what you want your wedding to look like really! Good luck - you really can't go wrong with either choice. Cabo is amazing.
