  1. Good find! I see them periodically at Michael's Craft store for $1 too just an FYI!
  2. Haha that is awesome! I wish I had that job! I <3 Target dollar spot
  3. Cool, I was just thinking I may want to customize mine since I've seen some great pics of how other people's have come out. Thanks!
  4. Go to vistaprint.com and sign up for their emails, they always have free offers and they have magnets that would be great for STDs. There are templates on the website so you can use one of theirs or upload an image you like but you would have to pay for the upload and shipping. Then in a few months you can send out a brochure that way it will help remind them to book and you have a little time to make them.
  5. I was thinking of making luggage tags out of vistaprint premium business cards, anyone want to show me theirs??
  6. I think the dollar store bags are cute and great for a destination wedding, I would use them because people will probably be getting them wet and putting messy things like sandy towels inside them and they may not want to ruin the nicer bags. Then you can use the extra money to put some more things in the bag maybe hats, t-shirts, or towels? It depends how many bags you are making but those could be a nicer item to put in them.
  7. Put them up to sell in the 'sell, trade, borrow' forum.. someone will undoubtedly want them for t-shirts or something
  8. I think it is fine since it will accompany a thoughtful gift... nobody really minds recieving money right??
  9. Supper cute! I think I'll get some labels with my next vistaprint order and start buying the chapstick and dollar tree, does chapstick go bad? I don't want to start too early
  10. I'd say the stadium cups because people are bound to leave whatever you give them somewhere so why spend more, esp. with the amount of money it will end up costing with all of those guests.
  11. Those look great, yet another thing to add to my OOT to do list
  12. uh oh i didn't know about cruisemates now I'm going to be addicted to that too! So much for getting more school work done today!
  13. I didn't even know anything about biodegradible sunscreen before this post, thanks for the info! Any more brands that people like to use? I love burts bees products so maybe i'll pick some of that up.
  14. Are you on cruisecritic as well? You will never feel like a lonely cruise bride there!
  15. Those bags look great! You may already know this but if you are putting postcards in them you should order them through vistaprint, they always have free postcard offers if you sign up for e-mails through them and you can upload your own pic if you want to, a lot of time they will have uploading for half off. HTH
  16. Dollar tree also has some scrapbooking supplies but it can be hit or miss, I pick things up there occasionally when I see cute stuff. And I never go to Michael's without looking in the flyer to see if there is a 40% off coupon, they have them all the time.
  17. Wow I can't believe you did that yourself it looks like a pro did it! Nice work!
  18. An oot (out of town) bag is like an additional thing, some people do them as well as favors and give the favors at the wedding and oot bags in the rooms as a little welcome favor as a thank you for coming to stay for the wedding. Some people only give favors and some only give oot bags, but it is a personal choice based on finances and logistics of getting the oot bags to the locations etc. But the purpose of them is to thank the guest for traveling to your wedding and staying over somewhere.
  19. I was there today as well and saw cute little white tin pails that could be used for favors, there were 2 to a pack so $.50 each.
  20. I think you have a great start, I love the color combinations and designs. I think with a little practice you will get the hang of using the paint but fabric markers are neater so if they are not too expensive you might want to try those, it would save you time in the long run. If you stick with the paints just try practice squeezing it out evenly because they always come out in a big blob at first but you will get the hang of it.
