Oh and all of a sudden I am pretty much in charge of my wedding shower! My sister was going to throw it for me but my mom got all involved and wanted to pay for things so my sis is letting her but that means that my mom calls me before making any decisions instead of calling my sis. And they told my FMIL that she could find some sort of craft for favors and we could get together at my sis's and make them which translated into my FMIL wanting me to give her a list of favor ideas, which I did, then she wanted me to go to the craft store with her and I'm sure that isn't the end of it. So I'm really much more involved then I would like to be, I wish it were a surprise so they would all leave me alone!

Well I have good news, my hair has stopped falling out so now I have some left for the wedding haha But my DIY invitations are a flop so I picked out some new ones to buy, so I just have to get an update from my FMIL b/c she said she has more guests to add then I'll buy those. Has everyone else sent theirs out? I feel behind in that dept. I booked and paid for my hotel in Miami before the cruise. And I'm doing really well with my OOT bags, just have a few things left to buy, I've been working on them for so long getting things bit by bit that it will be strange when they are finally done! Still need to book my flight to and from Miami, get the boys measurements for tuxes, make a newletter for my guests who accept, get our rings, buy the shoes I like, and other misc. to dos.

Awww I'm so sorry, stupid swine flu! People are really up in arms about it, my grandpa even asked me to get him surgical masks. You should try to enjoy yourself (but not touch anyone!) and maybe you can have some sort of AHR later for those who decided to cancel.

I have a few from being an RA: Have everyone stand in a large circle shoulder to shoulder and have a leader start by being in the middle of the circle and start with a category for example, "everyone who is from NH" then everyone with red have to run into the middle of the circle and find a new spot to stand (like musical chairs) then a new person will be left as the leader. Get a bunch of pennies from different years, each person takes a penny and tells a story from that year. Scavenger hunt based on information about the guests

If you know anyone who is going out there soon, have them go to one of the casinos, or a few of them for that matter, and get used playing cards, they sell them cheap and they are still in great shape they just have corner cuts or something to mark that they have already been used by the casino so no one can bring them in and cheat with them. And maybe something that tells the time, you can never tell if it is day or night when you are in the casinos!

I love them! I saw ones like these and feel in love with them, I wish I had thought of doing them myself! I am doing other DIY ones now and I might scrap them and go with something like this, thanks for sharing!

Target!! Best deals around, check in their dollar section for really cute things. I just got a pair on flip flops with anchors on them for my cruise. Plus if you use a credit card and get incentives on it you should see if you can get a target gift card with it. I have a captial one card and used my points to get a target gift card which I'm going to use to buy mini sunscreen and dollar spot stuff.
