Why dont you just do circular tables... Its more intimate I think.

FI and myself experienced this... When we told everyone we were getting married in Cancun, MX, everyone was coming. As time approached, our guests somehow started experiencing money issues, etc... so what we did was we invited everyone to an at home reception that took place on a Sunday and we did it from 1pm-6pm. Kind of like a co-ed shower for all the people who are attending the wedding and for those that were invited that cant make it. I say send out save the dates and get a feel for who is going. Right away youll start to get calls and people will start talking and you can get a feel of how many will be attneding. Then when you send out your invitations, send them to the people who you think are going for sure. Hope this helps... Good Luck

O*M*G.... Ok I found a link for all those dolphin lovers. Half of this cost and children do it for free with a paid adult! https://kattour2.securesites.com/res...#sealifecancun

Hi ladies, I was wondering if anyone has used an outside florist to get their centerpieces delivered to the hotel? I was quoted $150.00 for each centerpiece at Dreams but I found a florist who can do the same exact piece for $60.00. Do you all think this would be possible? Or would Claudia have a problem with it? I emailed her like 30 good questions, so as soon as she responds I will post them here for everyone to read!! : shots:

It also can't go past 11pm. I really feel like the reception should be at least 4 hours. By the time everyone eats dinner and gets up and moving on the dance floor, there will only be 1 1/2 hours left, which goes by so quickly. I think I read somewhere that one of the brides just continued on with the reception and another said that they moved the party into the lobby bar since there is music in there. I was wondering if possibly you asked if they charge for kids also? Im preparing a detailed email for Claudia so if anyone needs me to ask feel free to let me know what you need...

Ok sure, let me just take that money out of my %SS. Ugh-- Whatever, I guess I can just take it to the lobby and give everyone a headache there. Is there music there? Thats such BS. So now I need to come up with a master plan to end my reception fast and start with the music asap!

Well what I did was I came up with songs for the reception and they are pretty upbeat like Sade, Ditto, Gypsy Kings, etc... so by the time dinner is up, its party time. We have the dollar dance (us mexicans) which is customary in all weddings. Everyone dances with the bride and groom and they pin money on her dress and his suit. But I think Im going to skip it, which is lame but I want my guests to have a good time. My sister made $5,000.00 from her dollar dance which is awesome, but then again that can take up to an hour of my time and I dont want to bore anyone. So I will have an envelope drop box at my bridal shower instead since its co-ed. So if anyone finds out how to make the wedding a little longer please let me know.

I got 2/3 hours of the system covered for the reception which was 360 bucks. im sure you could put the credit towards flowers, you should ask I read somewhere on here that kids meals for the reception were 1/2 off and if you want to extend your reception its like 25 bucks per person per hour i think. they will extend it for $$$ of course! sunita WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 25.00 PER PERSON!! : They must be crazy... we just want to enjoy some music and the guests can just walk into the hotel bar and pick up a drink. They are crazy, they try to get you with everything. Im not regretting having my ceremony here but if I knew all this ahead of time I would of looked and considered other places that actually have their weddings ending at 12am.

Has anyone gotten credit from the photographer and been able to use the credit towards partial payment for centerpieces? How much are the kids meals? My entire wedding is over at 9pm. Has anyone gotten an exception to keep it going till 10-11pm? Its on the beach

Michaels has clips in gerbera daisys so pretty you just clip them on. There about $2.00 each. Also, here is my flower girl dress, it will be white with a hot pink sash and a big bow in the back. The bow on one side will be satin hot pink and the other side will be zebra print... I have an amazing girl who is doing it for me at $60.00. If anyone needs her to make a dress for your little one, she is amazing and she works over the internet and is great at communication and presenting ideas. I know her personally so if you need someone, holler at me, hahahaha! Im in a silly mood this morning -

I say we vote to pass it on from generation to generation! hahah I would love to see where that cake topper is in 3 years from today. hahaha Also, can someone answer my question to the tables? Are they 60" for 6 people? And two, do the bride and groom get a sweetheart table and the take table how big is that. Im in process of ordering my table runners... Thanks girlies
