Welcome!!! I just decided on the Barcelo Maya Palace (In Riviera Maya) did tons of research. Ask me if you have any questions

I'm getting married at the Palace on January 7, 2009! I have done A LOT of research, and have a great wedding planner here in Denver who's stayed at nearly every hotel in Cancun and Riviera Maya. She stayed at the Barcelo' Palace about 3 weeks ago, and couldn't speak highly enough about it. It's nice to talk to someone first hand who has slept in the beds, eaten the food, and seen/planned the weddings. I also have 2 co-workers who stayed there recently and they said it was amazing! I feel very confident that we made a great choice by picking the Barcelo' Palace!!!! I would love any feedback

Well, you definetely want to feel confident on your wedding day, that's an absolute must!!! Why not compromise with your hair? Don't completely chop it, just get a few inches off so it feels healthy!!! Honestly, I think you would regret it if you completely chop it off. TRUST me I worked in a salon for 4 years and all the girls had shorter hair. I was "OVER" my long hair, and decided to let them cut it all off. 3 years later I FINALLY have it grown back out.

So, 2 of my sisters friends have basically invited themselves to our wedding in Mexico. I am somewhat friends with these girls as well, so I suppose it's ok. Since we are booking as a group, and the room rates are based on double-occupancy, I am worried about the weird-o boyfriends they will want to bring. (They always have some new loser they are dating) Here's my question: Is there a "nice" clear way to request(since they are both friends) that they room together due to limited space, and that this is a private wedding with only family and close friends? This may sound terrible, but we're kind of hoping they will be bummed that they can't bring the boyfriends and decide not to go at all. And if they do decide to go, it's fine with me, just NO outside weird-o boyfriends. Anyone have any good wording ideas, or advice?? Thanks!
