  1. I am so sorry to hear this Look at it this way...I know it's disappointing they won't be there but at least you know to plan small now. You can have an absolutely beautiful wedding whether it's just the two of you, or 50+. We are having basically family only and just a few close friends. Very small. Everything will work out just as it should. Keep your chin up
  2. I added pictures on the next page! They have the cutest mini beach bags at micheals for really cheap. I bought them in pink, blue, yellow, green, and red (several of each) they are so cute! PERFECT for a little OOT bag

  8. Thanks gals One of the girls decided not to come when she found out she couldn't bring the loser felon boyfriend. but the other is coming single and is now staying with my sister. Wheew, it got a little outta control there for a while! Glad we're booked and no more un-invited guests to worry about (knock on wood) Thanks again for your responses!
  9. WOO HOO! Glad I'm not the only one with this thought! Yeah, definetely a lot cheaper to make it! I am also getting married on the beach and was worried about it blowing around. They said if I got a "fingertip length it should be fine" So, if I make my own, save a few $$ and it's windy and driving me nuts I'll just take it off and it won't be a big deal! Thanks for the tips ladies!!
  10. I'm thinking about making my own veil (maybe I'm insane) anyone made their own? If so please share! ----> (Me and Myself for wanting to make my veil LOL)
  11. Ladies~ I know we are all at different stages for our planning but it's never to late to start a monthly planning guide. I would like to share this with you. I've created a simple monthly schedule for what needs to get done each month. This way it's organized, I don't get over-whelmed each month, and I can do it month by month. If you find yourself saying "OMG I have sooo much do do and don't know where to begin" This is the perfect place to start. Hope someone finds it useful Happy planning MY MONTHLY TO-DO LIST FOR THE WEDDING JUNE: Mail MIB invites, book photographer, chose dinner menu, decide about bridal shower. Mail announcements, begin gathering, wedding favors for OOT bags, Decide on shoes/barefoot sandals, look at wedding pic. poses we like, look at flower pics. We like, Email them to Elaine and Jill. Confirm who's watching our animals while we're away. JULY:Continue gathering OOT stuff and decorations, Gather any legal documents needed, Buy Jewelry, Buy Barefoot sandal materials. AUGUST: My dress comes in! Get alterations made, purchase BM dresses, (they are already picked out) Create Wedding program, OOT booklet, Resort info, Thank you cards, finish OOT bags, make/buy barefoot sandals (we'll see how making everything else goes LOL) SEPTEMBER: Give Sam list of addresses for bachlorette party, Mail all bachelorette invites (the guys all just call eachother lol) Arrange sand ceremony, Buy FI's ring, FI'swedding attire,Groomsmen attire. OCTOBER: BACHLORE/BACHLORETTE PARTIES (end of the month) NOVEMBER: Remaining hotel cost due to Elaine Flick Nov 1st, Check in with photographer,Confirm colors, menu, cake, flowers, wedding set-up.
