  1. Remember this: Muscle weighs more than fat does. You are turning your fat into muscle, WHILE losing inches. Therefor your weight may not fluctuate a lot but your inches will melt away! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!
  2. THANKS SO MUCH for the site! My mom is a 12 year breast cancer survivor!!! What a great cause!
  3. LOL I guess we all have what we don't want...See, I have naturally curly hair but straighten it almost everyday. In Mexico I will not be able to do that will the humidity. In fact, I have no choice but to wear it curly. My solution: We switch hair. Here's my hair curly (sorry wind-blown and been at work all day)http://www.boandandrea.com/assets/images/sexy-hair As far as making yours curly, I would recommend gel, scrunching, and a difusser. You could steam up your bathroom and play with your hair a bit to see how it acts in humidity and what you can accomplish :)Good luck
  4. It definetely works that's for sure! And you can eat all the soup you want!!! FI were planning on making a big batch this evening! Count me in
  5. I didn't use directions I just looked at a picture and went from there. BUT I will give you the directions I created FYI, They were VERY easy to make and didn't take very long at all. These are very detailed instructions that's why they're so long. Also keep in mind I used both my feet to measure for lengths, but it's MUCH EASIER to string the beads when the wire isnt wrapped around them PM me if this makes absolutely no sense Step 1-You make the toe loop 1st. Simply wrap the jewelry wire around the toe next to your big toe, to see what size to make your loop. Make sure both ends are even. I put a piece of tape on one end of the jewelry wire so the beads didn't slip off. Once you know the size, of your loop, begin stringing the beads on (I put the beads on a hard surface and pushed on them with my finger so they would stick to me and then laced them through. It saves A LOT of time) The toe loop for me consisted of about 35-40 seed beads. After the beeds are on the wire, use your foot again and loop it around your toe. Step 2-Gather both ends so they are even and bring them up the top of your foot. Again, depending on your foot size the length will vary. Now you will be puting beads through both strings all the way up your foot. I alternated with seed beads, glass beads, and rock beads. If you want your main large stone to be on the top of your foot add it in this step I chose to add my shell in step 3 so it was on the side of my ankle(The choice is yours, you can do whatever you want) Step 3-Once the beads are strung up your foot, you will now split the wire and wrap it around your ankle.*Make sure to leave at least 1 inch of extra wire on each end so they can be clasped properly!* String both sides with beads. (I alternated with the seed bead, glass bead combo, and then added my shell so it dangled from the side.) Again, I taped each end so the beads didn't slip off. Depending on the style you want, the choice is yours. If you visit Jewels By Michele - Classy Barefoot Jewelry! there are a bunch of styles to look at and if you print the picture you can play around with the wire and easily change the style. I also decided to make an anklet that matched for each leg. The choice is yours! Step 4-I chose to take my barefoot sandals with the lovely taped ends to my local bead-it store, and they put the clasps on in 5 minutes for free. You can also buy the clasps at your local craft store and do it yourself. Now you have a created a beautiful pair of bf sandals in your exact style! I saved about $60.00 and still have the majority of materials to make them for my BM's
  6. Oh yeah, BTW, I got all the materials at Michaels for about $15.00 and I have a bunch left over for my Brides maides. I am going to make theirs match their dresses and just add a few colored beads

  11. Welcome Chica! Very nice to have you! Mexico is a wonderful choice!
  12. Heres what I've done: I sent STD's to everyone I wanted to invite to the actual wedding.(We're having a very small wedding 20 ppl) The ones who R.S.V.P'ed then received glass MIB invites in the mail. Next, I'm sending out "Announcements" to everyone that says something like, "We'll be having a small beach wedding with our families bla bla bla" "Please join us for a Colorado Celebration upon our return bla bla bla" In the MIB invites and the "Announcements" we put our website at the bottom so people could have full information about Mexico and the Colorado party. Hope this helps somewhat
  13. Yep, we're doing it about 1 1/2 weeks before we leave. Of course to us it's just legal paperwork, and our Anniversary will be on the day of the ceremony. I personally don't want to have a blood test in a foreign country either YiKeS lol
  14. I wash my bras in a mesh bag in the washing machine on cold. Then I hang them to dry on the door knob

I am about 5'5", 180lbs (lost about 60lbs within the last year or so), and HATE my arms! I've read that A-Lines or Empire waisted dresses might work well on me...and I am wondering if you all can give me your opinion of the following dress. Because of my arm issues, I have photoshopped the pic to have 3/4 length sleeves... If you think the sleeves look...awful...or the dress a bit much for my description...maybe you could offer me a few suggestions of things to look for to make the whole dress hunt...more enjoyable? Thank you everyone for taking the time! First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement AND on losing 60 lbs! As far as your dress goes here are my words of advice: It's important to feel confident in your dress Despite which sleeve you go with, the fact of the matter is; you still have arms and they will be visible considering it's a wedding dress you'll be wearing I would pick a dress that makes you feel good, and not think so much about picking a dress that will "hide" something. We ALL have our "problem areas" and if yours is your arms then make it a point to work on them. You have 10 months girl, you can totally do it! I found that instead of saying "I'm going to lose 10 lbs, or 20 lbs, or be a size 5 My goal is to feel confident!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhh what a beautiful thing!!!! I know you will look gorgeous no matter what dress you pick
  16. ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS WOW!!!!!!!!! You did such an amazing job! I LOVE IT ALL!!! Thanks so much for sharing! I love the floating orchid ceremony curtain.
  17. First of all I am glad you are ok I know you want to lose weight but BE careful! If you are injured from a car wreck and you force yourself, you could damage your body permanently I don't know how mobile you are but I would suggest LOTS of brisk walks, and a good eating plan. If you are able to do cardio at all, I would try the eliptical machine or something similar at the gym. Look for activities that get your heart rate up but that don't cause a lot of body strain Good luck!

I was thinking of getting my petals at home and taking them with me. I've heard that freeze dried petals are a good choice as they do not wilt or stain. Have any of you used these? if not what did you use? I saw silk flower petals for weddings at Hobby Lobby in the wedding section. I might actually be using them as well. They had all sorts of colors and would be perfect for a DW

I guess I will get used to it. I know many of you live or lived with your FI before you got married, but since being married what has been the biggest adjustment or something that you didn't expect? So you might think we're crazy but...The first week I moved in with my FI (we've now lived together 1 1/2 years) we pushed my double bed and his double bed together so we have 1 giant bed, but seperate sheets, mattresses, blankets, pillows. People laugh at us when we tell them, but then they realize how much sense it makes. We have slept wonderfully every night since, and I recommend it to everyone hehe

Cecilia took weeks to get back to me, then wasn't available anyway, and I wasn't completely taken by Vanessa's work. We just booked with cancun studios (CANCUN STUDIOS) They will do custom packages for you and they are right in the same price range as Cecilia and Vanessa. I LOVE their work and they were very quick at returning my email! Also with Vanessa you have to put 1/2 the package down for a deposit which can be pricy. With Cancun studios the deposit is $250.00 Hope this helps

  23. Ok, I promise to post pictures of them as soon as I get off work tonight. Sorry
