  1. I am Co-Chair of the luminaria Committee for the Relay For Life. It's a 24 hour cancer walk we do every year. I'm also a "Big Sister" in the Big Brother Big sister program. I write letters and send boxes to the troops in Iraq once a month, and just started volunteering on the oncology floor at the Children's hospital. I LOVE giving something back where I can.
  2. We mailed our glass MIB invites in boxes. They were filled with real sand, shells and a charm on the end and cost about $5.74 each EVERYONE made some sort of comment about how much they LOVED them, and how they were the best wedding invites they had ever received. With that being said, it was well worth the $$.

Tell him it will be less hassle this way, and that you don't want to have a bruise on your arm for where they draw blood? LOL it could work...hehe

Hope that helps!!!! ~~ Confidence is key! You look a lot more confident in the strapless. BTW if you hate the halter, I don't think you will "fall in love with it more" as time goes on. Just get one you feel like a princess in You look gorgeous in both! CONGRATS on losing a few pouds too (I KNOW how hard it is, because I am trying to lose about 15 myself) GOOD LUCK!
  5. THANKS SO MUCH for such great table ideas!!!! You ladies ROCK!!! I have yet to see a centerpiece I didn't like. They are all gorgeous and unique:)
  6. My mom is a 12 year breast cancer survivor!!!! Every year we volunteer and participate in the Relay for Life. It is a 20 hour cancer walk that starts tomorrow at 12:00 noon and goes until 8:00am Sunday morning. We raised over $100,000 dollars last year, and hope to break the record this year!!! Think of me while I'm walking through the night. "HERE'S TO PUTTING AN END TO ALL TYPES OF CANCER"
  7. Those look very cool! I must be honest though, I just wrote a thread asking if anyone had seen lights that illuminate in water and just happened to FIND THEM on the site you gave!!! So sorry I can't help you, but you helped me and I thank you SO much!!!!
  8. Very cute thanks a lot for the post!!! I might have to get me some of these
  9. I am looking for rocks, stones, and or something similar that light up and are water safe. I pictured them being part of my table centerpieces, but to be honest I don't know if they even exist LOL. Has anyone seen anything like this? The closest thing I found was Solar Swimming pool light balls but they are way to big. Thanks ladies
  10. Just made a donation! Sorry it wasn't more. Keep us posted about this cute little lady What a WONDERFUL person you are. I will do anything for our 4 legged friends.

  12. Thank you! That looks like a great site! Appreciate the post!
  13. We decided to use 1 long table for everyone, instead of small round tables. We are having a small semi-private wedding and want everyone to have a chance to get to know eachother. Forgive me if this is a stupid question but...Can I still use a few table decorations with the "beach theme" or do you think it will be to cluttered or busy? Anyone who sat at 1 large table what did you do? Thanks for your help!

  21. Hey! We're getting married on January 7, 2009 at the Barcelo Maya Palace (Riviera Maya) I'm not on WW either, but have been VERY good at excercising, eating well, and watching my portions! Me and FI do some sort of activity for 60 mins(tennis, walking, ect) 4-5 times a week, and lift weights at the gym. Keep it up girls we'll all look HOT!!!
  22. I'm SOO excited to have kids!!!!! After we're married our motto is "whatever happens happens." I was on the pill for a lot of years and have been off of it our entire relationship. We are "careful" if you know what I mean. I've always been affraid in the back of my head that I will have problems conceiving (I don't know why) so if I end up pregnant between now and the wedding I would be ecstatic.
