  1. No offense, but I would change nutritionalists. That is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. Unfortunetely you cannot predict anyone's ethics (whether it be a surgeon, teacher, or priest or EMT) but for someone to tell you they put your life on the line for a donor card is CRAZY. My sister is a cop and an EMT and trust me, in a life or death situation the LAST thing they are concerned with is digging around to see if you are a donor or not. I am ABSOLUTELY a donor!!!!!!!! Good luck chica
  2. Sorry I'm not much help..All that will be under my dress is me
  3. I first went to David's Bridal and looked at veils and found a few I liked. I took pictures, and basically looked at how they were assembled. Then I looked at the detail of my dress and went and bought matching beads and matching cord. At first I wanted to make my veil just to save money, but it actually turned into a sentimental thing as well. (And I'm addicted to DIY) Like I said, it matches my dress perfectly and I Love it! Also, I recommend using a wire comb, not plastic (They are hard to find by themselves to I bought a pre-maid one in the bridal section of Michael's and ripped everything off of it and started from scratch. I will post details of the assembly tonight
  4. Great thanks for the tip about the weights I wanted to post pics of my veil last night, but want to make a few more small changes to it. I will say that I LOVE it, and am verrry happy with the results. Sooo, tonight after work & after my finishing touches I will definetely post the pics.......
  5. They sent you the white proof and they messed up. All you have to say is "My wedding is in 4 weeks, what are you going to do about this?" Sternly, yet calmly. Good luck

    Hi

Welcome to the forum! You will LOVE IT here! Warning: You will be addicted soon so be careful hehe
  7. I bought them personalized necklaces to wear durring the wedding, and am making their barefoot sandals to match their dresses. I also found these mini glass bottle cork necklaces I am going to fill with beach sand for them. Try this website if you like "personalizing things" Things Remembered - Home
  8. We are just having the sand ceremony with the two of us. Also, we aren't using colored sand, instead we're using natural beach sand.
  9. So I went to the craft store yesterday and got all my veil materials. At first I was starring at this big pile of fluffy tulle and was like OMG where do I start? I DON'T know how to sew anything. Needless to say I assembled my entire veil last night and am now working on the small details. I'm outlining it with a cord, and adding beads that match my dress. I'm excited to post my pictures!!! Hopefully I can be a sewing fool and have them up tonight!!!! I'm SOOOOOOOO glad I decided to make it myself! This way it's like custom made to match my dress.
  10. Well, you don't want to scare them so maybe you could word it something like this: Please be aware of your surroundings, and sudden strong under-toes. Don't drink and swim, and don't swim alone. Maybe you could kind of make it into a "cute warning" if that makes sense??
  11. Yikes, I would be extremely nervous waiting till you get there. You may not be able to find what you are looking for, and I can almost guarantee you the prices will not be the best. Also,I don't know about you, but the last thing I would want to do when I step off the plane in Mexico is go searching for OOT bag items. I'll be drinkin and partying instead LOL! I guess, just try and pack light and squeeze it all in. ME, My FI, and mom are taking huge bags so we can fit everything
  12. I think he just wants you to show off your bling...I would definetely wait till after the ceremony.
  13. AWESOME!! So glad you found it! I too saw it at Target the other day and was gonna let you know if you hadn't found it yet. No, I never found aloe but I think I am good to go on all my supplies. I have officially cut myself off! LMFAO! Thank you so much for offering to ship though, I appreciate it!
  14. Girl, this is YOUR wedding day and you have to think most about what YOU want. There are pro's and con's to DW weddings and at home weddings, you just have to decide which has more of each.
  15. Ummm...What doesn't he say to make me laugh? LOL he's a total goof ball and I love it
  16. Glad I'm not the only one who wondered this... We actually decided to use these deep small starfish votives that will be PERFECT for the sand ceremony. The shape will actually act as a funnel YAY I'm excited I found a use for them!!!!!
  17. YES! The photography page is my favorite. I am definetely bringing it, to make sure we don't forget any poses Thanks for sharing!
  18. So do you just fill the sand with what you have at the table, then fill the rest of the bottle up together? We have starfish holders we are putting sand in, but it's not going to fill very much of the bottle...I feel like these are such stupid questions lol
  19. BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!!! I love them!
  20. I could go on and on about this but to make it short: I lost my very best friend to her F*** head husband. They have now been married 4 years, have 2 kids, and she's miserable of course but will NOT leave him. He cheats, is verbally abusive (probably physical who knows) hasn't paid taxes in 3 years, and is an alcoholic...Other than that he's a real catch LMFAO (NOT) I have now come to the conclusion that maybe someday she'll call me if she ever leaves him. I've tried to remain her friend but when people choose to stay in a shitty situation it's their own fault and there's nothing you can do. I miss that girl like crazy and it makes me so sad that she lets some man control her life
