Welcome to the thread! I was looking at your "to-do" list and noticed under Photography you need to pick out poses ect. There is an awesome thread in here about a Martha Stewart Planning guide. I didn't use any of it, except her photography planning page. It has all the pose combos, and room to write down poses you don't want to forget. I am TOTALLY bringing it to Mexico with me. I have been searching for 15 minutes and can't find the thread, but I do have it printed at home and I could scan it in if you want it (or you can try and search for it too UGH) Grrr, where is it?

You can do whatever you want! It's your wedding! Beach weddings can be as casual as shorts and flip flops, or as elegant as you want. It may be more difficult to find your theme, but if you love it, go for it!

Thanks again for all your input! We went last night and after trying them on and seeing both colors, we decided to do a royal blue and gorgeous deep pink. For my 2 BMs the dresses were even more beautiful on, and fit great. I was planning on getting the same color, but we all loved the two colors together so much we got them both! So far, everything I think I'm going to like, always changes once I actually see it in person hehe.

There are many of wonderful hotels as you can see! We are getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace in January 2009. I can tell you that we did a TON of research and we decided on this beautiful hotel. It just opened in December, so there aren't a lot of reviews on it, but my WC recently stayed there and has stayed at almost EVERY hotel in Mexico, and this was her highest recommendation. I have a lot of pictures of the rooms, the food, the pools, the beach ect. (If you would like), also it's definetely kid friendly and has an awesome pool for them (i have a picture of that too) Let me know if I can send you anything

We're getting married at the Barcelo Maya Palace in January 2009. Although our wedding and reception is in the sand, we were given the option to have it over-looking the ocean in this beautiful terrace. I'm sorry I don't know more details, but I would imagine most resorts give you a non-beach option. Good luck!

Ok, so originally there was going to be 3 BM, but now there will only be 2. I was going to do 3 bright different colors for their dresses. Now, with only 2 girls, do you think I should order the same color dress (either a bright watermelon color, or cornflower blue) OR should they be different colors still? Go for it girl! The dress is gorgeous. I would go ahead and order it, you can always exchange it. I am in a similar situation. I found the dress I love at David's Bridal and they only had it in Ivory. I wanted white, so they ordered it in white. I haven't seen it on me or anyone else in white and am hoping the beading is all exactly the same. (I don't see why it wouldn't be) Let us know!!

My FI are going to Manitu Springs today to buy un-polished stones! I'm not sure what everyone's beliefs are but my mom got my this amazing bookAmazon.com: Healing Crystals and Gemstones: From Amethyst to Zircon: Flora Peschek-Bohmer, Gisela Schreiber, Sibylle Dausien: Books about healing stones and gems. They incorporate your zodiac sign and explain about what stones can be benneficial to you and your life. You can also look up parts of the body, and which stones are good for each part (fertility, joint problems, digestion, anxiety ect.) It's a really fun book! I told Bo about it last night and once he opened it, he couldn't put it down. So, we decided to take a little day trip to Manitu Springs and buy some stones! Bo carries a small polished rock in his pocket every single day. Every so often he pulls it out and asks me to give it some "good energy". I hold it in my hands and make a very special thought and give it back to him. It's something we always do, and one of the unique things that makes our relationship so strong! If anyone likes healing stones and gems, you should definetely check the book out.

First of all NO, you aren't being bridezilla about this at all. It's sooooo damn annoying having to hassle people so much. Can you imagine what it would be like to always have other people waiting on you and making sure you got your stuff taken care of? I would feel so bad holding up someone's wedding plans because I can't make a decision. Anyway, not everyone thinks that way and I think it's perfectly fair to give him to the end of the month to "show you the money." I wouldn't bring it up to him again. You made it very clear last night and if the 31st rolls around and you don't see the $250.00 then ON WITH YOUR PLANS I say I think it's also humorous that people insist they know there will be flights going in and out all the time. It's the same thing in Denver, there's only 1 flight and we're all on it. My sis' boyfriend is pulling the sime kind of thing, (except he's not in the wedding party) Come on people, get your together!

So, I read this thread the other day but I loved all the dresses so much I didn't respond. I thought I would check back in a few days and look at them again and then post. Well, to be honest I think they are all equally gorgeous and I don't like one over the other. Whichever one you pick will be the right choice.

I LOVE the dress for the little one, but would maybe get her a bright pink Jr. Bridesmaid dress instead. Have you asked her if she likes the dress? If she likes it then heck, buy it in her size I love the pink color it's so bold and nice!
