While we're on the "worm" topic I must add this story in. My entire family is HUGE animal lovers, and sick, stray animals ALWAYS find their way to our houses. I get a call from my sister a few years ago and she's like "sis, you have to get over here right away, I need your help, HURRY!" We lived right up the street from eachother so I ran right over. In her kitchen she has a baby gate up and a huge raccoon. I was like "what the hell are you thinking, aren't those things agressive?" She told me that he wandered up to her door and was completely missing a leg and she had no choice but to help him. I felt bad for the poor thing, he obviously had some traumatic ordeal and needed a vet A.S.A.P. He was soooo exhausted and was very mellow. We put gloves on and put him in a large box and set out to take him to the Wild life rescue center. We go back to her house and she goes into the kitchen to wipe up the blood from his leg and SCREAMS!!!! There were maggots Everywhere! They must have been in the raccoons wound, and crawled all over her floor. We are both gaggers and were gagging and acting like total girls. We dumped atleast a gallon of bleach on her floor and scrubbed the hell out of it. It was one of the nastiest things I've ever seen. Not too many people get to hear that story cause it isn't your typical conversation topic, but thought I better post it here!

Up until I was a teenager I thought it was called girl cheese instead of grilled cheese. And up until I met my FI I said "I don't take anything for GRANITE, and he informed me that it's GRANTED. *Here's your sign* LOLOLOL

Yuck! I rescued/fostered a cat for a few months and have a similar story, but not quite as intense. I had just cooked spiral macaroni and cheese, ate it as fast as I could and then noticed something on the ground. It looked exactly like a piece of noodle had fallen out of the pan before I mixed the cheese, milk and butter in. I bent over to pick it up and it started wiggling and spread out double it's size. I like you, totally flipped out. I had taken the cat to the vet a day or two before hand, had her de-wormed and apparently some of them crawl out durring/after the process. I searched my apartment high and low for little white worms, I vaccumed, scrubbed, stripped my bed, and then did it all again. I was totally OCD about it, and felt like they were crawling everywhere. I wouldn't worry about your other animals eating them. I think that once you scrub down your house and vaccum, it will take care of it. I would keep your little foster guy confined maybe to the bathroom or something for a few days, until the worms are out of his system. BTW, I still can't eat spiral macaroni and cheese. Good luck!

Here's the "conclusion" for those who are interested. Although I have for my own full blown health insurance for the last 4 years (Thank God I had it, because I had to have 3 surgeries and a million tests in the first 2 years of having it) Anyway, after speaking with numerous insurance companies, they have all basically told me that you cannot recieve maternity bennefits on a family/individual plan. The only way to receive the bennefits is to switch to my company or my FI's companies insurance. Which would mean I lose my doctor. It's pretty sad that a hard working girl whos paid for her own insurance for 4 years, and who faithfully pays taxes cannot add on maternity to her policy. Infact it's absurd!!!!!!! The good news is that the doctor patient relationship is a big factor. I have an appt. with my doctor on August 22nd and am going to discuss this all with her. Because she is so awesome, and because she's been there through my surgeries, and we're close, I'm hoping she will work something out with me. That's my only chance!!!! If she can't work something out for whatever reason, I will stick with my current insurance and use her as my doctor anyway, and pay up the ass in the end. For those of you wondering "what's sooooo good about this doctor, that she's going through alllll this trouble" I'll tell you my "medical story" as quickly as I can: After visiting atleast 15 different doctors, and 2 years of CONSTANT PAIN in my lower abdomen, and all of them telling me there was nothing wrong, I FINALLY found Dr. Bubier. She was the first doctor that actually listened to me and didn't think I was crazy. She agreed to do an exploritory surgery, and try and figure out what the pain was caused by. She diagnosed me with Interstitial Cystitis (IC) it's a non-curable bladder disease that is mainly found in women over 40. I had the worst case she had ever seen and I was 20 at the time. Let me also remind you that she is an OBGYN who specializes in fertility and is not a Urologist, and could have easily over-looked my bladder durring the surgery, but she went above and beyond and thought she would do hydrodistention on my bladder just to make sure it wasn't IC. The diagnosis sucked, but it's not life-threatening and can be managed with life-style changes. If it weren't for her, I would probably still be walking around today not knowing what the hell is wrong. I have referred atleast 5 women to her, all of which LOVED her and wish the would have known about her sooner. Sorry I could go on and on, I just wanted to emphasize that she's 1 in a million and not having her as my baby doctor isn't an option. Thanks to everyone who gave their feedback and information, I appreciate it so much! For anyone who's interested I will post what the August 22nd apt. holds for me, and let you all know the insurance side of it. This has been a HUGE learning experience, and I want to be able to give some advice to anyone who's in the same boat as I am. Thanks again ladies!!!!

Good thing is the $1500 adds up quick. It includes co-pays, medications, etc. So I've almost met it for the year. So I guess I'm looking at 10% for the hospital stay and circumsizing my boy I've been paying $130 per month to my doc for his services at the hospital. That also goes towards my deductible. So once I make that final payment to him, I will only owe the hospital. If that makes sense... But, is your insurance through your company or husbands company, or is it an individual/family plan that you pay for yourself?
