I'd email him and ask him specifically ... "please confirm that my photographer, Elizabeth Medina has been approved for my wedding on June 12, 2009. I am anxiously awaiting your response. Thank you." You will definitely get a positive confirmation since milejilo and katken have already recieved their confirmations for her as their photographer. see post #422, 423 and 432 by milejilo and katken
  2. I don't think you're too early. I struggled with the same concerns about sizing. I ended up ordering the size for the largest part of me (as is suggested) and it definitely needs alterations as it is right now. I wanted to be sure I was confortable to sit and dance so I preferred to go up a bit cause it can always be altered down. I like you, expect to lose weight I won't be sure where I will lose it. I def won't have it altered until closer to the date to ensure a proper fit.
  3. wow those are beautiful. i like that the pics are close up. they really look real.

That seems a little different that what I had been reading. What do you guys think? Provide Fabio with your photographer's information via email. He should reply and let you know if they are approved (make sure you get their decision in writing). You should note that your photographer will need a specific work visa (listed on Karisma's website) if they already don't have one. The 3 night or $500 charge is correct. Good Luck.

  8. hmmm something new? lynchburg lemonade cosmo chocolate martini Caipirinha (Brazil's most famous drink; it contains Lime Juice, Cachaza or Guaro(Brazilian tequila), and sugar or ask the bartender for a favorite they know how make really well! my personal favs are a "tom collins", a "top shelf margarita, with a shot of grand marnier, extra salt on the rim and definitely on the rocks" or an iced cold Heineken.
  9. Happy Wedding Day Yari & Brian!!!! Can't wait to read all about it and see your pics. Congrats
  10. Those came out great. I like your pics and instructions. That's really going to help brides out!
  11. Jenny, I'm glad to hear that this project is easier. I'm happy to see you at the point of designing the INVITES already!!! YAY
  12. Hey Jenny. I love what you've done already. I think all the suggestions you've received are great. This is what I think: Page 1 Your names could be a bit larger and if you think it's too much maybe go larger with a gray color instead of black. I also like the idea of keeping the clip art the same throughout but maybe not the entire thing - same on 1st 2 pgs. I like clipart #2 or #3 for a more elegant feel though you could use #1 in a lighter color to achieve same results. Page 2 Your names or title of page could be a different color - maybe gray or incorporating the lime or pink in a subtle way. Maybe a hint of color in your monogram? Page 3 I like a different clip art for the last page and the sand dollar is nice. You can keep the paper simple or textured but I probably wouldn't use a colored paper. Maybe a pearlized paper for the cover? (BTW I thought about doing these as my invites too but I'm a little traumatized from my passport STD experience. I keep thinking this project might be easier - guess not - eck.) Good luck!!!!
  13. Congrats. It's great to have these major things accomplished!
  14. I saw a clip of this on a program on tv. I recall that participants planned to stay outdoors waiting in line WELL in advance, went with a group of people who wore similar bright colored shirts. Grab and go!!!! and good luck.
  15. Thanks for posting the information and all the pics Abby This gives us some great perspective.
  16. hmmmm. In the past, I've given beautiful dish gardens (larger ones), flower arrangements, spa certs, edible arrangements(nicely carved fruit on sticks). (BTW - I'm the HR person at my job so I get that lucky task. Gifts are from the whole team - not just one person)
