Heh, my first roommate after college was assumed gay by pretty much everyone he met. He tried to protest and even had a girlfriend. Then he and said girlfriend moved down south and now he's dating men. I just didn't understand why he cared that we knew, because it was pretty obvious and nobody had any problems with it. I wonder when he's going to admit to his friends up north that he's gay? I only heard through the grape vine.

Count me in again! I lost a good chunk in Season 8, but I still got a lot to go!

OOOH! I'm so excited for the results. Haha... I've lost almost all of what I gained from vacation.

(Or is CT still within their service area--as messed up as that would be?) I think they consider me as being eligible because I work in NY (even though it's not NYC), but I argued that in my appeal... the response for which I received in the mail yesterday. They denied me. I got almost 15 minutes of sleep in this morning before I had to schlep off to work. While I was getting ready, I spontaneously burst into tears about three times. Talk about being unhealthy... I think FI almost had me comitted. The good news is that I think I'm getting married! Yay love!

Sorry I missed last week, but I had a good reason! We took an impromptu trip to Vermont and then to the MGM Grand Casino. Although, I have to admit that I was very naughty on my little vacation and gained weight. Some of it I think is just bloating from the drinking because it's beginning to drop, so I'm hoping the final damage isn't too bad. We went to Tom Colicchio's Craftsteak at MGM Grand. I had a side of potato puree that I think I would bathe in if I could... that's how yummy it was. Anyone else dreading Easter a little? My FMIL invited us over for dinner and she's going to have some good food there.

It just really makes me really aggravated that I'm paying into this plan (and my employer is paying into this plan) that is now useless!

I didn't make corned beef and cabbage. We went out to eat instead, and my willpower went out the window. I ordered a salad, but I also ate a lot of FI's fries and part of his burger.

So, I got promoted and am now working in NY even though I live in CT. To make a long story short, I switched my health insurance for an HMO because it looked like it was going to be WAAAYYY more cost effective. Before I switched, I called to double check that all of my doctors and medical problems would be covered and listed them each and had them check. Fast forward to the new year. Apparently the HMO only covers doctors in the five boroughs of NYC even though I don't even work in NYC, live in NYC (more than 2 hour drive away), and I specifically called to make sure that EACH ONE of my CT doctors would be covered. Not only that, they don't cover prescriptions or tests from my CT doctors (which I've racked up almost $1k already this year). The second I found out this I started frantically calling to see if anything could be done. The only thing that can be done is for me to submit a written appeal and wait at least a month for them to respond saying I can switch my insurance. Meanwhile, I thankfully got my gyno to give me free samples of birth control so I don't have to pay full price, and I pushed back all of my checkups and appointments. But now something is out in my back and it's causing me great pain to move at all, but I don't want to go to the Dr or Chiro, because I don't want to accumulate any more expenses while waiting for a response! Major sucky situation. I kinda want to just do a legal wedding now so I can update my (and FI's) insurance coverage due to a life change cause.

Don't forget to weigh in today, ladies! Would it be bad if I made corned beef, cabbage, and colcannon for dinner tonight? With Guinness?

Haha, Manders, I was looking at your siggy and reminiscing. For some reason our resort is well loved by Canadians, so when we went for our site visit, I made a lot of new Canadian friends who were astonished that I knew that Newfoundland wasn't pronounced New- FOUND - Land. Yay Canada!

I think I need to focus on not gaining when I'm "off diet" in the future. I've been looking at my weight over the years and although I typically gain some weight in the winter and lose a little in the summer, overall I'm trending a gain. Speaking of triumphs, I weighed in at work today and made weight! I'm so excited, especially because there's money on the line! But, it looks like a lot of people are making their goal, so I don't think I'm going to make a big profit.

How'd you guys do this week? I miss tacos... by a lot.

So, I checked out my weight on the scale at work today, and I'm about a 1-1.5 lbs away from my target for my work challenge. Next week is the weigh in for that, so I think I might make it as long as I'm good this week. By the way... when is the last weigh in for this?

I thought it could be any one on the resort.

Natasha- How did you manage to miss the weigh in?! Haha... it's awesome. Malisa and Melissa- GREAT JOB! Manders - Did you buy a bra?

I passed the ten pound mark! YAY!

My current favorite type I get from Target. It's Champion brand (C9, I think) and has two layers. The underlayer has bunching that creates a kind of faux cup. It's very comfortable, pretty supportive, and inexpensive. On a clearance sale, I got a couple for $10. I think it normally costs $18. I'm a 36C/D(when I'm fatter) and I really like it. I also really like the double layer Champion exercise pants. It sucks in your thighs, pouch, and tushie with the underlayer and then floats away from your leg. It's not bulky and it's comfy and really flattering and easy to exercise in.

But, they have classes I like and they're the cheapest gym around that offers classes, so I go. I try to dress pretty modestly because I feel uncomfortable if some pervy old guy is staring at my assets while I'm running. There are other girls who dress more provocatively, but they have the figures for it and I feel it's their prerogative if they don't mind the stares. However, there is one sizeable lady in her 40's/50's whose wardrobe I would like to regulate. She attends some of the cardio dance classes I go to. She likes to wear short shorts and no shirt. Her worn out white sports bra isn't supporting anything and is kinda see through. And she takes her shoes off during class. Every time I see her, I feel uncomfortable for her!

Sent mine! Almost to the 10 lb mark! For some reason, I was really hungry yesterday. Unfortunately, we really needed groceries and were pretty much out of healthy LeAnne food and had some less healthy John food in the house... plus we were snowed in. I ate a few cups of frozen broccoli before I ended up eating a sausage. I don't know what made me so hungry!!
