  2. Oh... feel free to mention to her that only Boring People get bored, because interesting people can have fun anywhere!

Waterbury is one of the worst cities in Connecticut. I was told not to live here when I first moved to the state. I told them "I'm from Detroit. How bad does Connecticut get, really?" I should mention that to my sister, because in Michigan people shoot pizza boys for the $40 they have on them. Mexico can't be that bad in comparison. I've been there before and didn't feel unsafe, but I just want to make sure everyone has no reservations when they make their reservations.
  4. Yeah, it was my friend's 30th B-day this weekend. I had a glass of wine while there and some puff pastries. But, on a positive note, I hit the 10lb mark! Time for a non-food reward for LeAnne!
  5. Yeah, this chick sounds like a biatch. Yes, a wedding is a party. No, it's not her trashy spring break party. She seems like she's going to be high maintenance. I would let her know that you would appreciate her support and positivity. If she can't provide that, then she should reconsider attending.

  7. Well, I got a message from my sister today. Apparently she's surprised that we're still planning on going to Mexico with all the bodies that keep showing up all over the place. Any one else having guests with safety concerns?
  8. Hey Ladies! I just booked a romantic site visit for April 21st-27th at GBP Tulum. I hope that we love it, because I don't have a good Plan B going for me. My TA is going to see if she can get me a meeting with the WC, so start thinking of questions you might want me to bring along. I'll ask y'all to send them to me a few weeks out, so I don't forget anything. As far as unexcited bridesmaids go, my sister (one of my two MOHs) actually called me up to apologize for not seeming as excited last time I talked to her. I wasn't even feeling poorly about it, so it was a nice surprise that she wanted to let me know that she was excited. My other MOH seems to be pretty worried about the price (which I totally understand). I'm hoping once the prices are finalized and the money stuff is taken care of she'll be super excited as well. Hopefully your BMs will perk up closer to the date too. If not, maybe have a chat with them to see if there's anything in particular that's bugging them?

  10. I love that sundress and bride shirt! It's too bad you're not my size. Where did you buy the bride shirt?

I think you will be fine though...I have heard some really good things, and their prices are reasonable. I love their BM dress selection too... Good luck! Rachel, which one did you go to? The one in Danbury was awesome to me. I wanna know which ones to avoid in case I get my BM dresses there?
  12. I had an appointment there, and the associate I had was wonderful. She was very nice and spent a lot of time with me. I ended up buying a dress I liked better somewhere else, but David's did well in my book for service.
  13. Raylia Bridesmaids 8427Z Raylia Bridesmaids I think this dress would go well with yours.

It's probably a combination of those things. Plus, keeping your body hydrated help make your muscles work and grow properly and ups your metabolism. I've upped my consumption to the recommend daily amount, but I find that I still need more to compensate for all that sweating!

  17. Congrats Trish! That's awesome! And good job to the rest of you ladies. Week two is pretty rough, so don't stress if you didn't lose. :-)
  18. Ann, hope everything turns out ok! Home owning is so tough sometimes. I did ok this week. FI brought me home a whole cheesecake one day, so I'm thinking that that hurt me a little. :-)
  19. Oooh... I think this is a great idea! I started one for my own benefit, but not for Jamaica.
  20. Servers always have nightmares about waiting tables. I think it's just one of those stress triggers. Hopefully none of your nightmares will come true!
