  1. omg!!!!! I know the attention is supposed to be on the bride on the big day but it's where the focus will be thats the problem! wonder if anyone at the wedding would remember anything other than the tits?

  3. Hehee just found this semi-old tread. I've just been giggling to myself Last summer all those little "smock" dresses were in fasion in the UK. - On both holidays I was asked if I was pregnant (No!). I love the dresses still
  4. Don't wory just yet. We had booked Ocean blue and then heard same sort of bad reviews. Just talk to some brides from there and that should put your mind at rest
  5. 1) This is your and FI big day - if they come / or don't then don't let it spoil it 2) Take it you are a few months pregnant- no one has a right to tell you to abort. He should keep his opinions to himself, it’s nothing to do with him. It an additional stress you should not have to deal with 3) Sitting down at talking to them is an perfect answer but this doesn't always work. If you follow this advice, take care not to let it escalate into a full blown row. Usually this method requires maturity. 4) You, your FI and babies are a beautiful family. Remember that saying about not letting anyone part you? 5) If all else fails remember we all have some of those embarrassing family members we cringe at!
  6. awww congratuations - hope they don't gibe you too many sleepless nights lol
  7. My grandad is giving me away (subject to health etc). My biological father is not dead (not that I know off) but he unfortunatly is not a nice person. I am getting married abroad to limit the possiblility of him showing up to ruin it. However, I still had the same problem - who will give me away. My mum would not be interested. She's not the type of person who would plike that sort of stuff. I've got two brothers but which one would do it? Now my grandad is the perfect solution for my situation. I know you will find some sort of resolution which will suit you and your family- I wish you all the best
  8. I love all the responses. I orignally wrote this question because I've always known I wanted children - we would have started earlier under the right circumstances (or happy accident). The time is now right - but then came this strong urge to marry. I just didn't know where it came from
  9. That's one expensive bill - glad you argued
  10. PS - forgot to add. TA said never mind it will be likely to be ok considering we are booking over 12 months ahead Well if we can't have our wedding then don't take our £6K!
  11. Hello TA said that it is not routine to confirm wedding with Ocean blue until 12months before. They will then confirm the wedding date and send details such as wedding package / options etc. On booking we were told it would take 7 days to confirm - then 14 days - one month later we told it still not going to be confirmed for at least another 2 months! want to plan! They still haven't guaranteed that I will have my wedding then! All they seem to want to do is get the money!
  12. We found last june tended to rain for short bursts, then quickly clears up. Just a note - isn't it supposed to be good luck if it rains on your wedding day?
  13. Oceann blue for us - only because of money for family to come
  14. I believe there are different versions of adobe - one where you can view documents (usually free version) and the full version (must pay for). Wonder if that the difference
  15. we'll be putting the do not disturb sign on the room door the night and morning after the wedding. ... well we'll be having a hangover! No seriously, I like the idea of going to a different hotel but we can justifying bring them all the way over and then leaving them. We picked a very big resort. We'll go into hiding and have a few romantic meals along, other than that - it's a family holiday
