Your wedding dress is the same dress my MOH and BM wore (in different colors of course). Its a beautiful dress and so flattering. The material is fabulous.

We were married 01-10-09 and I want to send out a wedding announcement with a photo from our day to those who weren't there. Did you guys do this? If you did where did you order them from? I'm thinking I want a photo card with a picture on the front and then the info about our day inside. I have a kodak gallery account, but wasn't sure if there is a better option out there. Thanks!

I wore my hair mostly down. Just a little of the front was pinned back, but with some pieces hanging down in the front too. Honestly it was ok and it was pretty windy on our day. If you just pin some of the front back, you won't have to worry about it blowing in your face much and it looks kinda nice with the back blowing in the wind. Since you are just doing pictures on the beach you can also angle yourself so the the wind is blowing back and not blowing your hair forward. I think it'll work...

3.3 is awesome! I have found new motivation... I joined facebook and reconnected with someone from high school who was a good friend and always challenged me. We are going to have our own contest and might even try to work out together some time... which will be weird because we haven't seen each other since 1995.

Ooh, ladies I just sent a request to join, but there was no place to put my BDW name. I want in! lol I just joined fb a few weeks ago and I'm so addicted.

Ok, I'm on the cheapy end too. My band was on sale for $199. Its a sapphire and diamond band. DH's cost $50, that's right $50. Woohoo! lol Its a tungsten band and we got it on overstock. We figured he would ruin it at some point since he gets dirty at work, so why spend a lot. I think you should decide on a budget and go from there. You don't have to spend a lot to get something nice.

What I Wouldn't Do Again Stress so much about whether or not everyone was having a good time Greet all of my guests in the lobby as they arrived~ it really took away from my trip Spend so much $ on a photographer~ I could have gotten someone less expensive and still gotten the pictures I wanted Picked the BBQ buffet for dinner~ I didn't put much thought into what we would eat because it was an AI, my thought was if you don't like it eat something else later. The food was ok, but nothing special. Bring down raffia fans~ it was windy and they weren't needed. If I Could Do It Over I would have communicated more with our photog before the big day so I knew what to expect. I would have planned better for pics before the ceremony started. I would have taken more time for formal, posed pictures between the ceremony and reception even if it meant the partying started a little later. I would have paid for an extra hour of open bar so we could've stayed on the deck longer rather than moving to the disco. Otherwise, I'd do just about everything the same. We had a great day.

Do it. The only pictures I ended up even liking were from my ttd, not my wedding. And, your dress is going to get dirty on your wedding day. Despite the name of the photo shoot, your dress won't be trashed afterward. It'll be washed.

I agree... if its in the budget~ go for it!

So, all of the sudden one of my cats has started coughing. More like wheezing with a cough at the end. At first I thought maybe he was just having hair balls, but nothing was coming out and now my other cat has started doing the same thing. I made a vet appt, but its not until Wed. They seem fine otherwise, acting fine and eating and everything. Just this annoying cough. How the heck do indoor cats that have no contact with other animals get a cough? Its weird. They are 8 years old and have never been sick. I know its just a cough, but I hate having to wait until Wed to see a dr.
