I think its time to look into a new planner. It looks like she is really busy, which is good for her, but maybe not so good for you. Imagine its a couple of weeks from now, you've already booked with her and now you can't get ahold of her. Would that be ok with you? If it were me, I'd look for someone else who can handle all of their workload, which includes following up with potential clients, especially ones that seem pretty darn interested in booking. JMO Also, if her quote is going to go up because you have more people, I would be nervous you will be at the top of your budget and may not get spectacular service.

Where is everybody? The thread can't slow down this much already. Its too early in the contest! So, I gained, but it was expected because I've been the biggest slacker EVER. Its like the thought of knowing I want to change my eating habits is making me eat everything that I know is bad. If that makes sense. Like, I gotta get it in before I tell myself I can't have it any more. I gotta change my thinking.

I confess that living in one of the most expensive counties, in one of the most expensive states in the US is really frustrating when you're trying to look for a house. Even in this market and economy we can't find anything we like in our price range. Its so frustrating! Why does everything have to be so yucky?

I agree with the other girls, have FI talk to her and tell her she can wear it another day on the trip, but not the wedding day. Also, do you have a wedding website for guests to view? We had a section on ours giving guests an idea of what to wear to our beach wedding. Here's what it said, Stay comfortable for our ceremony on the beach... Sundresses, khaki pants, collared t-shirts are all welcome. Jackets and ties are not required. Comfy sandals or flip flops or just leave your shoes at home! Don't forget your sunglasses... (ummmm, don't wear white. lol) Its a joke, kind of. I think it gets the point across.

I haven't been there, but something about the complaints the B&G had don't sound like they should've been surprises to me. They would know the resort does more than one wedding a day ahead of time, no? And, as Calia said, if you upgrade to better flowers or a private table, of course there would be a charge for that. That's not hidden information, its common sense. So, I would say not to worry. It could be that this B&G in particular just had unrealistic expectations or that they didn't gather as much information ahead of time as they should have. I'm sure your wedding and trip will be fantastic!

Hey ladies, I've emailed Kamila twice about trying to get myself and a friend into one of her summer BD shoots, but haven't heard anything back from her. Its been a couple of weeks since the first email. Does it usually take her this long to get back in touch? Any suggestions?
