Thanks so much for sharing your info. I am leaving this coming Saturday and getting married Tues May 19th. Quick question... did you have the option of renting a DJ? I have my music on a CD and am a little worried about how I am going to get to play it at the reception.. Also, what was the weather like? Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could share with me their experience of bringing their wedding dress on the plane with them? I am flying with Skyservice from Toronto and don't know how I go about bringing my poofy dress on the plane with me ( I definitely don't feel comfortable checking it with my luggage). Some people have advised me to show up for the flight 4 hrs early to ensure I get to bring it on with me! My TA hasn't been too helpful in providing me with direction. Any advice??( Thanks Allyson

Thanks everyone! I just booked the date and time (on a Tues) and hopefully I can get a Saturday flight. )

I too am having difficulties finding not only a wedding time, but a wedding date!!! Every single day seems to be booked for Apr and May 2009. Is it true you have to be there 2 business days prior to the wedding? There is a Tuesday in May available, but I would only be able to arrive on the Sat and when filling out the online form it keeps telling me I have to be there 2 business days prior? I ideally would like a Wed or Thurs but there is literally nothing ( I have already contact the resort and they have given me the same info.

I am still trying to decide on a resort for my wedding but have to take into consideration the accessibility of the resort as some of my guests have physical disabilities. I really like all the reviews I have read about the ROR and am seriously considering it. Does anyone know if there are ramps, stand alone showers etc at this resort Also, I was wondering if there are other areas to get married and have a reception that doesn't involve the beach as again this would be an issue for a few of my guests ? Can you rent out a restaurant for the evening to have more of a private reception with dancing speeches etc? Thanks a bunch, Allyson
