Hello, I have become a little concerned after reading some recent negative reviews on Dreams Cancun. Can someone who has been there offer some words of reassurance to those of us that will be getting married there in the near future?

Thanks everyone for the replies, at least I am not alone in having this worry. For those of you who will be making your deposit at the end of May, has your contract been finalized? My wedding contract does only have the photos in the ceremony section, I will have to look into that further as we would want to have some photos of the reception as well.

Could someone tell me how far in advance they paid their deposit? I received my contract via e-mail for next April but wanted to make some additions which I e-mailed to Daniela. I haven't heard back yet, it has been almost a month. I guess I will feel more reassured that my date is set in stone after I pay the deposit.

Hi there, I am wondering if anyone has any food suggestions for the buffet reception at Dreams Cancun? I have selected the 'Dreams of Love' package which includes the silver meal package. Has anyone chosen this package as well? Also, I am wondering if it is an option to have a second choice for the main course and what the additional costs would be. I did e-mail this question to Daniela, just waiting to hear back. If anyone has any information they could share, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Wow, this is such a blessing, I was wishing I could do a site visit however it would be quite costly to do so since I live in Canada. Looking forward to hearing about your trip. There was a bride on here that had her reception in the spa area, I have an e-mail in to Daniela to see if this would be an option for the cocktail hour (we are having the reception on the beach), if you get a chance to take some photos of this area, that would be great! I just booked my trip last week along with 21 other guests. I am in the process of finalizing the details of my wedding contract, just waiting to hear back from Daniela, I know it is probably very busy there at the moment.
