Hey Brooke - that pic is totally flattering! Mommy bellies are sexy!! And, we don't have July 4th, but we have July 1st celebrations - pretty much the same thing. Canada Day. Lots of Canada flags, people dressed in red and white, bbqs, parties, drinking, fireworks, you name it, we do it! LOL! It's on Thursday, so it's kinda crappy because it would be nice if it was Friday, then it would be a three day weekend for everyone. I'm going to a football game (roughriders vs montreal Alouettes (WOOO Roughriders!) - Canadian gals will know about that! It will be quite the match since the roughriders almost won against the alouettes and ended up losing in the last few seconds of the game because there were too many players on the field It was crazy! People were so mad! So anyways, Thursdays game should be interesting! Friday, we go see our AHR venue, and I get my hair done. Another tanning session. Saturday/Sunday is last minute packing/manicure/pedicure/shopping. I need to get some new lingerie because I've lost quite a bit of weight, and my old stuff doesn't fit me. I've been doing this beachbody insanity for 3 weeks. Before that I did the 30 day shred, I've lost 2.5 inches off my chest, 1.5 inches off my waist, and 2.5 inches of my hips! I love it!! Haven't lost much weight, so I must be gaining muscle because I went from a size 12/14 to a size 10/12. I just hope I can keep it off at the AI in Mexico. HA! Thanks for all the best wishes ladies! I will be thinking of you in Mexico and I will try to check in every so often! I'll have lots and lots of pics to show!

Hi ladies!!!! I only have ONE MORE work day after today and then I'm on holidays (which is good because I have so much I STILL havent done!), plus we are still up sh*t creek without a paddle with the AHR. We are going to another place on Friday, and I hope this is the one! We need to have it nailed down before we leave for Mexico. I have to go lingerie shopping, and finish packing, upload my songs/playlists to my ipod, write my vows, and all the other little stuff you do before vacation. Christina - I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I have that problem a lot too, so I'm hoping when I become preggers I can take something for it to keep things moving! Sue - so glad to see you on here!! You sound so busy!! I'm sorry to hear about your mom passing away before your son was born. She must have been young. I'm sorry to hear that!

Hi ladies!!! 9 DAYS!!!! WHOA!!! I haven't started having butterflies yet, but I think the weekend before I go is when I will start to double check lists, etc. I haven't started packing yet OOPS! I guess I should get on that! I have the suitcases pulled out and everything is piled in the corner in my room (I've been slowly putting more and more stuff there - it's my "wedding" corner LOL), so I don't think packing will be too bad. I think we nailed down our AHR venue, and S and I are going to look at it this aft. I hope it works out! And I won a free photography package for our AHR! How awesome is that? I never expected to win, just came across it on a local photographers website, and entered, and boom! We won! And my coworker is making our cake as our present (she makes gorgeous cakes!). I've been putting together my list of songs for the AHR for the dance, and I've got 5 hours worth, but I think I need more Ladies, I haven't seen any preggers pics yet!! I want baby belly pics please!!! I want to have a baby so bad, but I can't right now, so I need to live vicariously through you!!

Oh Chris, I'm so sorry that you are going through something like this, and that you feel so alone because you are an only child. Make sure you take lots of time for you, to recover and heal, and to support your dad. I believe the same as msglave, and that God will not give you anything you cannot handle. We are all human, and we must grieve, but in time, you will have strength, and each day there will be a little less pain and the positive memories, the laughs, and smiles will start to shine through. Brooke I would love to do that except they only have chairs for 100, so if 10 "extra" people show up, they wouldn't have anywhere to sit And I'm pretty sure everyone who said they are coming will be, we called to talk to people to double check, so that we only had to move venues if we absolutely HAD to....and we do....oh well! It's actually going to be better this way, because the new place includes tableclothes, linens, setup, bar, etc, so we don't have to do anything except show up and leave when we are done! YAY!!!

WestBacaniWedding - I'm sorry to hear that you feel uncomfortable and judged around your in-laws, but YAY that they live 7 hours away! I lived in South Korea for 3 years and a lot of my friends were married/dating interrculturally and I saw a lot of their struggles and pain with the parents of the Korean partner. Funny enough it was usually only a problem if the white partner was female, but if it was a white male with a Korean female, the parents were a little more accepting. At least that's what my friends conveyed to me. As long as your FI loves you, that's all that matters!! My confession for today: I'm jealous of all you girls who can put your legs behind your head!! LOL!! Is there a trick to it?

Hi ladies! I hope my dress cleaning won't be that much! YIKES! I'm assuming I will have to get mine cleaned before our AHR. As for the AHR, I don't have the option of squeezing in 10 extra people because their fire regulation limit is 100.... Anyway, I'm happy about it, because we are going to find a place that will do all the setup/clean up for us, so we don't have to worry about that. We will just bring our own centerpieces that I'm making, and maybe put up some lights/tulle on the headtable and that's it. We also have to see about a DJ I think. so much to do! I really may as well have gotten married here for all the work this reception has become! It's craziness!

Yeah, I have the same problem too ladies. I actually had one lady tell me that I should just have a baby anyways (even though we are in debt up to our eyeballs from our undergraduate degrees, and now we are both doing our masters while working full time to try and pay for it). Best part is, her reason for telling me to have a baby right away was "because you aren't getting any younger you know"....WTF??

Oh Chris - I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I know how much it sucks to do things alone like that! I can't even go to the doctor's office alone. I'm such a baby. LOL! And I'm sorry you lost that bracelet. I hope they find it and call you soon! And you're right, who the hell would steal something from a doc's office? Brooke - that's so cute that you felt the baby move! What a wonderful feeling to remind you there's a little life inside of you! Breens - a girl!!!! YAAAY!!! I really hope I have a girl first. I'll just be happy with a baby period, but I secretly hope for a girl! So ladies, I've been stressing out majorly!! UGH! THe AHR is a royal pain in the you know what! We invited about 120 people, and almost ALL of them are coming - 110 to be exact. We wanted around 100, so that is why we invited 120, thinking usually at least 1/3 of people say no. Especially because I invited family from out east, and Sean's family from west, and we assumed they wouldn't come all the way out here for just a reception. Well I guess we were wrong! That normally would be fine except that our venue will only accomodate 100 people. Luckily we can get our deposit back, but now we have to find another place to have it! It's proving to be quite a sore spot with S and I because this is not what we wanted at all. I have spent more time on the AHR (just little tidbits here and there) that amount to more than the time I've spent on planning for Mexico. This is the exact reason why we DIDN'T want to get married here because it's too stressful, takes up too much time for planning, etc. UGH! I'm so frustrated, and S's mom is "planning" the whole thing because it's supposed to be their "gift" to us, yet she told Sean the other day that she only has X dollars to spend, and anything above that we'll have to cover. She told us if we wanted liquor, we will have to do that ourselves as well.!?? WTF?? Sorry, okay, I'm done now. PHEW! I told S I will be so glad when this summer is over, we are married, and we can just spend time together and be a happy newlywed couple!

Wow barbie girl! How selfish of them? Saying that you would choose a DW was a personal attack on them. Really? Like you would choose your wedding based on how you could hurt other people, rather than what you actually want to do. Seriously! Some people are so self-centered and stupid! JEESH! We have lots of friends who have babies, who have either decided to come and not bring their babies cause it's like a second honeymoon for them, or they are not coming, but celebrating with us when we get back. Not everyone in our lives has been that supportive though, FI's dad for one.....brutal mess of a story there! My confession for today: I'm going to a movie tonight and I really want to have popcorn, but I know I shouldn't!
