  2. Congrats and welcome to the forum! I vote for PV! (probably obvious! ).

PV brides, please share your bouquets with me TIA To be honest with you, I'm surprised that you can even get calla lillies in July. I order from 3 different vendors in GDL, when I'm doing an event, and calla lillies went "out of season" the beginning of May (because of the climate change, this was a bad year for callas) - my May bride wanted calla's too, but, as I couldn't get any, she asked for Stargazers and lillies instead. IF they can get your callas, I'm willing to bet they are being IMPORTED which would make them SUPER expensive (like with orchids and tulips which are always imported). What SHOULD be available now: Roses (ALWAYS available - and not uber expensive) Alstromeria Bethlehem Star Calla Lillies Cartemom Casablanca Cymbidium and dendrobium orchids (they are $$, eh!) Delphenium Gerber Daisies Ginger Gladiola Heliconia Iris Irish Bells Lily Lisianthus Mums Tuberose Stargazer Tulips (these are $$ too) Now knowing what sort of wedding you're having, my recommendations are: Roses with Bethlehem Star and/or Dendrobium orchids Roses with Lisianthius Dendrobium orchids with Lisianthius Roses and lillies Bethlehem Star, Tuberoses and Lisianthius Or you could try an all Casablanca bouquet. Huge flowers, smell great - but don't work so well with other flowers. Or maybe Casablancas with Bethlehem Star. Hope that helped!

Saturday I did a ceremony and it was really overcast and cloudy, we had a 6 p.m. ceremony and everything was fine but it did start raining around 7:30. Today it's rained ALL DAY long. I think my best advice would be to have a back-up plan in the chance that it does rain, rather than trying to adjust your ceremony time to miss it - June is still the "iffy" month - it's really July/Aug/Sept when the rain starts to hit at a regular time every day.
  19. Not sure on price or how many they sleep, but good, bigger villas (especially for an event) would be: Quinta del Mar Villa Mia Villa Celeste None of those are on the beach exactly - although Villa Mia does have stairs leading right to the ocean and rock outcroppings and Villa Celeste is just down the road from the beautiful Playa Conchas Chinas.

The weekend of the 23rd is Memorial Day, so I could have a Sunday wedding and have everyone fly home on Monday. If it makes you feel better re: your decision it's raining right now as I type and has been raining all day long . One note about May (just fyi), it's THE BUSIEST wedding month here in PV, so if you're uber picky about where you're getting married and who's coordinating you, you're going to want to hop to it and get that all settled. Any other month (except maybe October - another busy one for some reason) I wouldn't say anything. And, of course, the weekend that gets booked the fastest is Memorial Day weekend. :)
