Hey gals! I just wanted to share a new place I heart! I'll take some pictures soon so you can see what I mean...
A new restaurant just opened across the street from me called "Te Limon" - they've decorated it in a rustic/hacienda sortof way and the food is YUMMYY and not too $$. My favorite (so far) is their tortilla soup (I'm super picky about this as it's one of my favs) and their Tampiquena platter which comes with a chile relleno (to die for - seriously), enchilada (also yummy!) and the tenderest piece of beef with side of rice and cactus.
Just to give you an idea of price, the soup is $45 pesos (about $4.50 usd) and the Tampiquena platter $115 pesos (about $11.50 usd).
The only drawback I see to eating dinner there is they only serve wine and I'm a Corona girl - but they said, for an event, they would serve whatever kind of alcohol you would like at the event.
The restaurant is located at the corner of Ecuador and San Salvador in the 5 de Diciembre area - exactly 5 blocks up from Buena Aventura/Villa Premiere.
Now, it's not on the beach and doesn't have a view - but, if you wanted your guests to have a very real upscale Mexican experience, this little restaurant is a little gem. And, nope, they have not a clue I'm writing about them and, nope, I never ever get anything from anyone when I recommend something - I gotta like it is all :).
