That sucks... I had to change my date too (10/10/10 is a sunday). So my wedding will be 10-9-10 good enough for me When they told us the date wasn't available, our friends said just do it 9-9-09! Bob said i was thinking more like 10-11-12... sucker! I'm so excited... To get promoted I needed to take a test, which i scored #1 on of the 15 of us that took it. The next step was the interview which was today I really think I NAILED IT! ok so we e-mail a lot, so i emailed her... this is what i said. Mom... I am inviting everyone to the wedding. and the party at home. I originally wasn't even planning on having any kind of reception at home but I know that i am probably the only wedding you guys are going to get to have. so I am sending 2 sets of invitations when i actually send the invitations out. The wedding on the beach IS the wedding... so inviting people to just the party at home would be like inviting someone to just the reception for the normal wedding. I don't care if i send out 200 invitations and only 10 say yes... the save the date I am ordering has my wedding date on it, that's the date that will be my anniversary. they also have our wedding website, people can go to the website and it will have the information for punta cana and cleveland. The "wedsite" is still a work in progress so when it is completely done i'll show you. it will be very clear. I don't think too many people will be too confused. I'll try to get you a copy of the proofs of my invitations so you can see how clearly it is spelled out. she hasn't responded. I guess there are no questions to really respond to but i hope she isn't offended. we will see... in the end i know, I am paying for all of this, and it is my wedding so things will end up my way (not to be bridezilla lol)

Foxy-- FI is a huge michigan fan, the first time he met my brothers (both huge ohio states fans) was at a michigan/osu game party. he showed up in blaring blue and gold and stuck out like a sore thumb... not the best first impression... thank god for his personality

See that's exactly how I feel! Thank god I thought I was going crazy and maybe the mom's were right... I swear she really thinks it's just going to be us and my parents and his parents and that's it... not only is our wedding OVER a year away, we have a really cool travel agent that is setting up a payment plan and 4 night 6 night and 7 night packages to accomodate everyone.

Ya, i have those packages I totally think they are priced very reasonably. just comparing to the costs of some of the local photogs that requre travel expenses. also I love that so many people on here have such great things to say about them!

My mom doesnt think anyone will want to come to my wedding. I am trying to include her in the planning process... So today it came to the STD she firmly believes no one will come to my wedding and i should not invite people or tell people to STD for my wedding when they most likely will only attend the AHR anyway... FMIL also kinda seems to feel the same way how do I respond to this??

It really isn't that high of a cost for the fees... My FI is divorced also. check out WEDO they are really affordable and I've seen other brides on here that have used them and were really happy. also I've seen tons of threads on this if you use the search you probably will find exactly what you're looking for.

OMG!!! I just cried for 2 hours watching that episode! I almost jumped ship earlier this year with the whole izzie banging the dead guy thing, but man! The last few weeks have sucked me right back in! Woohoo! Can't wait for next season!!!
