  1. Wow, this thread is HILARIOUS! I cannot believe that people would actually name their children after an STD (and i do not mean save the date) Having said that, I know of two very sweet little girls whose (most likely drunk) mother named them: Chardonnay and Tia Maria But.. that definatley isn't as bad as an STD!
  2. congrats! i love heart warming shelter stories! too many pets end up in shelters - if my FI would let me I'd have another baby dog.

To further this, my suggestion is wearing a pair of ankle weights while you do it, this will also help to strengthen your knees. good luck! and congrats for getting on the right track!

  11. My bridal party is small, just two my MOH is my sister and my BM is my BFF from elementary school (since we are to be wed in Cuba my BM is also my witness). These girls have seen me through the roughest patches of my life. I couldn't imagine not having them beside me as I change from Me to WE. They have done SO much and still the wedding is so far away - dress shopping 3 times - and travelling far distances to do so. Helping with travel arrangements, wed-site review, invites and save the dates (labelling, stamping etc.), and I know that they have been planning a special event for me for labour day weekend. My MOH and BM ROCK! and I love them both dearly!

  14. I would agree with the idea that you should have a wristlet done. I had to have the bust let out of a BM dress, and in my experience, the dress was triple stitched in the inside, meaning that there were two layers that could be let out, a simple steaming fixed up the seams, and created a far more comfortable situation!
