  3. Great choice!!! They will look amazing against the blue ocean!!!
  4. I really like the blue ribbon added to the stems, but I'm not sure about the random blue in along the roses - maybe they need a little more blue in along the roses to provide symmetry.
  5. Congrats on your legal day tomorrow!!! Have a great time and take a pic or two to share!!!`

    Newbie!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum... you will find a lot of help here in the Islands section!!!
  7. We did bags for 84... yikes... You can see the details in my planning thread. We opted to have a "pre-Cuba Strategy party at our house" following that, I maiiled out about 6 or 8 packages to people that couldn't join us for the strategy party. The strategy party was an awesome kickoff to the wedding.
  8. Congratulations!!! You looked stunning! I am thrilled to hear that you had a great experience. DH and I have never stayed at the Solymar, but plan to on our next visit to Varadero!
  9. Awesome planning thread -- I love how your colours tied everything together!
  10. what if you set a bunch with the person sitting at the end chair on the aisle. you could then (possibly with a change in music -- indicating your arrival) have your guests toss them forward. You could leave a note with said petals with instructions on those peoples chairs. just a thought, and it would be a cool way to involve your guests.
  11. I love the idea of doing something matchy... matchy bracelets, toe rings, maybe earrings. A little token is a really sweet idea. Alternatively --- you could foot the bill for brunch>?
  12. Happy Anniversary!!!! Wow... a whole year already!!! Congrats!
  13. I too LOVE LOVE LOVE Shutterfly... In my siggy there is a link to the photobook I made of the wedding -- we ended up making one for ourselves, and one for our parents (my mom, MIL, and 2nd Mom) and our 4 members of our bridal party -- what we did with the first two pages for these ones was writing a thankyou note and putting a pic of the receipent that was from our collection of pro photography. I also did DH's BD book from shutterfly... with all projects, I am super impressed with the results... AND for you Canadian Girls... I NEVER PAID DUTY ON ANY OF MY PROJECTS!!!!

I have some solutions and words of wisdom... #1. you NEED to have the proper undergarments to be fitted to any dress -- wedding or not! Go to the lingerie shoppe at the southridge mall..... expect to spend +$100 - $150 at least for a proper corset. The ladies there are unbelievably fantastic and well educated in fittings. It is YOUR wedding and you are worth it... it will indeed keep the girls in a good place! #2. Go for another fitting once you have this corset bra... you will feel much better about it and your aunt can fit the dress to the undergarments. #3. Keep in mind that you don't have the tie up - corset back on the dress yet... once that is there the boning can be pulled closer to your body. In closing, it looks fantastic! You are so blessed to have such talent in your family!
  15. ummm you have to click on the photo to be able to read it!
  16. Keep the answers coming... here is what I have compiled thus far!

Sounds like life to me.... and as my one of my co-workers says so eloquently "Visa has lots of money".... Have a fun time at all those bachelorette parties!!!
