Help… I can’t decide whether to have the ceremony in the chapel or on the beach… has anyone had theirs in the chapel and if so what was it like? Thanks!! Tracy

so many interesting jobs listed; very cool to see what everyone does outside of the forum! I own a ladies boutique and my FI is an RMT (ya for me!!)

Our budget is 17,000. We are paying for 6 of our guests (parents and sisters) plus FI & I for the week (FI & I are staying for 10 days), we are going with the 'free wedding' package (there are 26 guests coming.. so free wedding is included and adding a few extras (photographer, dinner $20 pp, flowers..) my dress cost $200 !! ... lol the best bargain so far!!

mexico's high season is December thru to Easter

I just got off the phone with the resort. nothing new. they said (yet again) that they will have information tomorrow. My TA had heard that they would be making the call on opening for high season today or tomorrow... its still a wait and see....

I completely understand where you are coming from. It’s sad when someone in your own family has a lack of interested in something that is so important to you. You did the right thing, its your wedding, your day.. having someone as your MOH that will cherish the day with you 100% is the most important thing. My sister was my MOH as well but because of the lack of interest in my wedding I made a decision a few weeks ago that we are not going to have anyone stand up with us..instead they will be our ‘witnesses’ and sign the document, that's it. I know I didn’t solve my own issues with her but honestly I couldn’t bear the added stress of having to deal with her. I hope for the best for you and remember its your day, your moment. Tracy

wow. that is so hurtful but I agree with your mom - if they have decided two cruises are more important than coming to your wedding then so be it.... its their loss and I am sure one day he will have many regrets not being there. try and focus on all of your family that will be there with you on your special day.. best wishes..
