It says right on the website those big dimensions. Maybe I should of paid better attention.
  3. So I ended up buying a frame for the sand ceremony. It is HUGE, a lot bigger than I thought it was. It measures 5 inches tall, 3 inches deep, and 8 inches wide. We are thinking that is a TON of sand. Here is pictures of it so you can get an idea... We had it engraved so of course still want to use it, but dont want the sand to be to overbearing. How much sand do you think will fit in there? Any suggestions on a cover to?

  7. I worked on a fun DIY project today - cootie catchers! I thought it was a cute/fun idea for cocktail hour. We are going to be taking pictures during cocktail hour so it can help as an ice breaker. We created three different kinds. Two of them are random facts about us, and than the third one has little dares like Introduce yourself to someone new, pose for a photo, drink a cocktail, etc. The template is in powerpoint, I attached it for anyone that would like to use it. (There are instructions with the attachment, that probably are a lot better than Im going to explain! LOL) You can print it with the lines or without the lines. The only thing when you print without the lines you dont have a guide to cutting the paper or folding it. I couldnt figure out how to change the color of the lines either, so I traced over them with the color I wanted. Than just hid the background image which is the lines provided, so only my color lines are visible. Than I just created a line border through the outer flaps, and the first inner flaps. Theres a few borders available in powerpoint. FYI - to hid the lines, just right click outside the box, in the open space, and select format picture. Than click the checkbox for hide background graphics. I still need to practice folding a bit better, so normally in my pictures you wouldnt see that brown line. So forgive my beginner skills. LOL But I was so excited about them that I wanted to share NOW. LOL Here is when I first printed it out: First fold, you flip it over to the blank side and than fold each corner up to the middle: Second fold, turn paper over so the folded sides are face down, and fold corners to the middle again: Now fold the square vertically, crease it, than fold it horizontal and crease it. Just slip your fingers under the flaps and you can push your finger in the middle to form it. And there you have it Heres a picture of seeing the fortunes... How fun are these?! Ill either put these on the tables, or Ill put them in a clear vase by the bar cootie catcher.ppt
  8. I really love how you set it up with shells for your picture, so cute! You did an awesome job. If I was a guest I would be so excited for your beach wedding!
  9. I always try to think of a snazzy title, but never can seem to find one. LOL We finished our programs and menus last night :-) We are using the same design concept through a few of our projects. Its our wedding website design. We used it on the invites, and now carried it over to the the programs. Its this tree with hearts, and grass. We found this scalloped paper at Staples. It was probably a little more than we like to spend, but we really liked the look. And after shopping for paper for 6 hours its the only one that fit this vision we couldnt implement. LOL We used green for the cover and back, and than ivory for the in between pages. We designed the pages in photoshop, and printed them on our printer. Ill be honest, the printing was a nightmare. Thats mostly because of our printer. We have an Epson that does not let you feed paper in from the back, it has to go from the top. With this size paper and it being thick cardstock it was a pain. The paper stuck together and would jam. So we had to hand feed each one for awhile there. 80 pages. LOL By the last page it finally started to feed without our help. For a minute there I thought my FI was going to recreate the scene from office space. I kept whispering hang in there epson, hes not mad at you! After we got everything printer, we punched a hole in the uppper corner, and attached the pages with a flower/star brad. LOVE the result!!!! I was a little unsure about how the brown printed on the green, but after it was all together I think it went well. And the sun will be bright so it should be okay. Here are my pictures...although they arent the best. I wish I knew how to take better ones! Not sure what an average price on programs our, but our programs came out to $1.80 each. And here are our menus. These were much easier obviously. Designed them again in photoshop, and we printed 3 on a 8x11 cardstock. I also rounded the corner to give it a little extra spunk. lol Maybe doesnt go to well with the square border, but I still liked the look. We plan on putting them in everyone napkins, like a pocket. We were going to do name tags lower on the napkin, like a ring. But we arent having assigned seating so decided against it.
  10. Here is my bouquet Unfortuantely, I cant take very good pictures. The stem makes me nervous, does anyone have any suggestions to make it strong. You cant remove it because it goes up through the shells..... Also I wanted to use the bouquet frames but I dont think I can that with this now
  11. Ashley, it sounds to me like she needed to hear/read that text. I dont understand why people act they way they do when it comes to weddings. Dont let her get to you. Sounds like you have done everything you can. She really needs to grown up. Hang in there! Erika: Today is your surgery right? Thinking of you today! Sending a great speedy recovery vibes your way! Cherie: I think usually you bring the kit as in the vases, sand, etc. You can always use beach sand to which makes it even more sentimental We finished our menus and programs last night. WOOHOO! Im uploading pics this morning. The programs were a pain mostly due to our printer. Never buying an epson again! At least not one that you cant feed paper in from the back!
  12. My seashell bouquet came in I love it! A few of the shells look like htey may have cracked though....could it be from the change of temps? It came from Tampa to Michigan.
  13. I dont know of any bars since my first time being there will be in a few weeks. But I wanted to chime in anyways Wheree are you getting married on Sanibel? That was what we aimed for at first, but wasnt in the budget We are getting married in Fort Myers Beach now
  14. How cool your having your friend do the ceremony. Defintely one of a kind! I cant wait to hear how it goes! So last night I bought a frame for the sand ceremony. I dont think it has an opening so that could be an issue. But I didnt want to take on another DIY project of creating one, so bought this one... Wedding Reception Glass Photo Vase | Marilyn's Keepsakes We got Mr. & Mrs. Goulet engraved on it It should arrive by October 20th, in the nick of time. lol
  15. I know what you mean about feeling a bit scattered. Like oh I have to add this to the list, and this...oh wait what was I orginally adding? LOL FI and I have created a master spreadsheet in google documents that we both check daily and try to get things done while we can. We are up to our 17th tab. LOL Im like wow how many tabs would it be if we were getting married here. This is just for 20 people! That is helpful that you have people you can have carry luggage on for you. I worry about packing myself. We are driving down in a mini cooper and can barely fit us, luggage, and the dress! With your groomsmans you can save some money on luggage to
  16. Keira...here ya go http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-script-21660/
  17. Ashley I would be very annoyed. That should of been one of the first things she talked to you about! Dea, my project list is pretty intense and I have 3 weeks till I leave. LOL Im actually feeling okay about it though. We are driving down so if I have to I guess I can work on them on the 4 day drive down. LOL I started working on our ceremony yesterday and fell upon the thread with all the scripts. Wow. This forum is amazing I tell you. They have helped me make such a beautiful wedding, and I cant wait to start piecing the ceremony together.
  18. Im down a pound. My squats went okay on Monday, but boy did I realize I hate squats. LOL Ive found some motivation and Im flying with it. I started up the Couch to 5k program, and was able to jump in at week 5 And last night I went to cycling class which is always a great workout. Maybe the your wedding is in less than a month did kick me in the butt! Im trying not to focus to much on the scale. I have an autoimmune thyroid disease and its a struggle to lose weight. Im more focusing on your make healthy choices and are feeling good! So what if the scale doesnt move...I still feel good about myself. Its a hard thing to do! But Id be lying if I wasnt geeked when I say a pound gone on the scale.
  19. Just to make sure, you girls like the idea of asking the guests their favorite love songs?
  20. We finally decided on favors. Music is such a huge part of our lives, so we decided on making CD's. We were thinking we would put a few songs from the wedding, some songs from our childhood, and songs that mean a lot from our relationship. Than I came across this idea while googling, and someone asked their bridal party and parents what their favorite love song was. They made the cd of all the love songs, and in the insert put who picked which song. That sounds like a fun idea. And with 20 guests, I could ask all of them. That would mean at least one song on there they like. LOL Its kind of nice to include the guests I things to Some people have said, some people may not like that since they dont have the same taste in music as you. But we were planning on making the cd off all genres and age groups. What do you think?
  21. I love them! You guys did a great job. Your guests are going to love the personal touch you made to them! I think I agree with your FI, and like how your name looks like its sand. I also love your monogram in your siggie!
