We're arriving on a Saturday, getting married the first day we can, which is a Wednesday, and leaving on the following Saturday.

Did anyone here use Elizabeth Lloyd for their wedding and trash the dress session? We've been in contact with her, and while hiring an outside photographer for the wedding would be something I'd love, it's kind of outside our budget...however I have been talking to her about doing a Trash The Dress. Wondering if anyone has done one with her, and if I can see the pictures? I love the pics on her website, and for anyone thinking of using her, she is super nice, and responds quickly!

It was the Riu Jalisco in Puerto Vallarta - I just realised you're looking in Cancun! The Riu resorts fitted our budget quite well - I really wanted Dreams, but when it came down to it, I was happy with Riu to save everyone quite a bit of cash! I believe the travel agent got a group rate through Sunquest.

I agree with Rachel too. My MOH is in England, I'm in Canada. She's flying here first to throw the hens night, but that is on her insistance. I want her there because she is my best friend, not because she can help with everything.

Helen, I hope you're still around... I'm a Jalisco bride, but I figured it would be the same either resort... Which package did your daughter have? How long was the professional photographer there, and did they have the option of purchasing more photos than the package allowed? We're thinking of hiring an outside photographer, but I really don't want to spend that kind of money if the hotel one is good. I don't need him to watch me get dressed (I'm shy!), but if he does a load of pictures to choose from, I'm good! Thank you!

We just booked through Sunquest from Edmonton... They told us a month, but then we were told as long as they were receiving deposits regularly, they would hold the 30 plane seats until demand exceeded supply. They would honour that price until 60 days before the wedding, and if the price went down, they would issue the difference in travel vouchers. Hope this helps!

I'm getting married April 15? Maybe that could help? I'm really not sure on hiring an outside photographer though yet....

Not that I'm an alcoholic, although apparently all my fiance's friends are. We are frequently being asked what the "import beers" are, what liquor is available, and if there are different kinds of wine available throughout the day. Anybody know? THANK YOU!

Hey Raeka, When you were making your picks with the wedding coordinator, did they have a lot of choices, or just a couple? Did you bring decorations with you?
