Azul is my first choice, also.. and I am absolutely heart broken about their photographer policy. It would be okay if they had a GOOD photographer that they required you to use.. but the horrible website they sent me to.. I could take better pictures than that - and I usually cut people's heads off!!! I'm just sick to find all of this out...

woo woo.. I'm getting the hang of it now.. I've created a picture gallery?? and it has the pics that I want to copy!

And swank (sp?) is the DJ guy, right? We were planning a morning wedding.. Around 11 a.m. Then we wanted to have a champagne brunch. I believe I read that there's a corking fee to bring your own bubbly in, because I'm sure their prices are high. I noticed all the talk about wedding times.. dinner times and reception.. I hadn't thought about that for myself!! I thought we'll get married.. we've have brunch... and then we're done! But I guess I have to plan a little time in there for pics after the wedding.

You Rock!! Thank you!!! I'm ready to get planning!! Paradisus was my first choice... then I found Azul and I loved how small Azul is.. I don't want to get married in one of those mega-resorts with 14,000 rooms! I found some pics on trip advisor.. some wedding pics... the chairs are white with brown bows... and the tables are beautiful! My first question - what is their policy on outside photogs? Since that's what has made me leave Azul.

I was in the store just this past weekend... and I love the sandcastle ones!! I'm probably going to get those.. I'm just terrified of trying to carry glass!!! But they are all beautiful!

I *think* I might be moving my wedding here.... I was working with Azul.. but after seeing their photog policy.. and how horrible their in-house guy is... I just can't do it. My heart is breaking... but I'll find another location. I am loving reading about your experiences here...

Thank you everyone!! I think I'm still called a "lurker".. I'm been reading around here for a while.. I just sent the WP at Azul an email.. I told him that my heart is breaking.. but I won't go anywhere the requires me to use their photog.. and a BAD photog at that.. Back to the drawing board... We'll find something!!!

Good Morning everyone! I was planning a November 8th wedding at Azul.. but after reading about the photog policy... and look at the website of the photog they require us to use.. I believe I am changing already! YIKES!!!!
