  2. Congratulations! I can't wait to see pics and hear all the lovely details.
  3. That dress is awesome for a DW I think. Depending on what kind of feel you want for the wedding I guess. I mean if you want a beach BBQ and something more lowkey then maybe - but even then I think the bride can wear ANYTHING. She's the bride. It looks flowy and romantic and I think it's gorgeous. Is it heavy material? Are you concerned that you might be too hot? Cause if you love it then you gotta wear it right?

  6. Kelly- both are gorgeous dresses for different reasons- go with the one you feel best in. Right now I am also leaning towards a WToo dress. I love their stuff! You might also want to post your dress on here Used wedding dresses. New, sample & used designer gowns. Buy & sell

Thanks so much for your help!! ____________________________________ Hi xxxx, Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk to me about the Project Management position with xxxxxx. ( I might get rid if this next sentence cause you already thanked them for time in the opening sentence) I appreciate your time and consideration in interviewing me for this position. After speaking with you, (----get rid of that) I believe that I would be a perfect candidate for this position, offering the quick learning and adaptability that is needed for a diversified position. In addition to my enthusiasm for performing well, I would bring the technical and analytical skills necessary to get the job done. I am very interested in working for ( I would say the company name. Ex: I am interested in becoming a part of AT&T's growing team and look forward to hearing from you...etc) you and look forward to hearing from you once the final decisions are made regarding this position. (I would change this to .. I can be reached at xxx-xx-xxx if further information is needed.) Feel free to contact me at anytime if further information is needed. My cell phone number is (xxx) xxx-xxxx Thank you again for your time and consideration. ( I would cut this out and just do your closing) Sincerely, xxxxxx ___________________________________ Jenn I hope I didn't change too much. I thought this might help it sound more assertive and professional. It took away a little of the "hire me please! and may help it feel more like "i'm the right person for your team." I think it's a good thank you note but I also agree that you should add something personalized from your conversation so that the interviewer might also recall something specific about you. If you want a opinion on 2nd draft -post! I hope it helps... and good luck I hope you get the job!
  8. These are great shots! Where you in Union Square park? I like the graffiti one the best. super cute.

Greasy pepperoni and mushrooms! My favorite! I paid for it later though... Not as bad as I would have imagined, but it was the first time since I'd been taking the pills that I realized they really do work. I'll probably cut back a slice the next time I decide to endulge myself. Hehe! Wow! congrats on the loss. I think this pill just works differently with people's bodies. I'm just curious- What's a sample day of what you eat? I'm wondering about the whole too much , too little fat conversation that we've been having. Good for you!
  10. I know that this is silly but...... Yesterday a friend and I were having drinks at this place and there was a tarot card reader. At first we were like ha ha- and next think you know I;m shelling out $25 for 15 mins. I always try to take these things with a grain of salt but she was REALLY EERILY on with several aspects of my life. There were several moments where she would pause and say "ok, I'm just going to tell you what the cards are saying.." and then drop a little bomb like lady: you guys are getting married right? me: yea lady: not this year though right? me: may 2009 lady: oh you have a date picked? hmm I'm getting some ambiguity. Like he's feeling confused and a lot of pressure. If the date gets changed don't freak out just go with it. This man is darling and he absolutely adores you. This isn't an issue about you it's timing. I mean I laughed because what groom doesn't feel pressure I guess... but... I don't know I feel a little funny. I talked to Fi about it last night. I'm being a little crazy right?
  11. I watch that show! I sort of love it too. The mom is crazy organized and a little psycho sometimes I have to admit. Did you watch the episode when she was screening for cleaning ladies? she was like checking with a white glove. She goes ballistic on the husband often too ( I would be too with 8 little ones prob) It's funny though.

If you find out please post cause I have been thinking about lighting options. When I was there for my site visit I saw a wedding and the lights seemed really bright for night time reception on the terrace. On another note.. What kind of centerpieces is everyone doing? Are you using the hurricane candles? Perla told me those were some of the only ones that wouldn't blow out in the breeze. I'm all about candles and mellow lighting but of course those aren't necessarily the prettiest.
  13. OMG Tami that sucks. I would be freaking out too and definately not eating rice for a minute...
  14. Have fun camping! I was wondering where you were? I always love reading your posts.
  15. Thank you ladies. I appreciate the warm wishes!!
  16. Ha ha... Seriously, weight needs to not be lost from breasts and hands first- that's just silly. If I could request a place it would be my thighs...
  17. Well yesterday was my birthday and I started off right but ate whatever I wanted at dinner and drank some wine. I have randome little birthday celebrations the rest of the week ( which is great) but I am hoping I don't undo any of my loss. I am down 1 more lb today so I am happy. My first instinct was to say " ugh one measly pound?!" and then I thought without this motivation I probably wouldn't even have had the 5lb total loss at all. So it's slow but steady I guess. Have a great day ladies!
