Take the test to ease your mind. I recently went off the pill after being on it for ages and was freaking out cause I thought I was preggo too. I couldn't sleep and I HAD to go get a test. Keep us posted! For the record it sounds like you are extra safe so i think it's just you switching pills...

What's something you saw at a wedding that made you swear...

We traveled 4 hours to get to that wedding which included an overnight stay. The least they could've done was feed us! Kristy that sucks! Funny that you had to go grab food after the wedding.. It is something kind of out of your control but if it was my wedding I would've flipped out. When my FI sees me walking down the aisle I don't want him to be distracted by some other womans boobies. We are having a sunset wedding at a private restaurant on the beach so hopefully we can avoid this kind of thing. OMG this one made me laugh. That's like my nightmare. We all just looked at each other, started laughing and then went to the bar. Worst Wedding Ever! That is absolutely horrible. I can't believe the bride and groom just bailed. too funny! I was filling up the bowls with ice cubes trying to cool them down. I swore to cap pictures at an hour. That is gross! Poor little fishies. Nice of you to ice em down Erin! At one wedding the guests were all supposed to release butterflies. Too bad most of them were dead or sleeping so the guests were just throwing dead/lethargic bugs up into the air (of course they had to come down!) This is funny - and sad. I can just imagine everyone waiting for the butterflies to fly and they just fall. -
My FI will do stuff on the computer and mock whatever silly show I am watching. Which can be annoying! The biggest one is "real housewives of NYC, or Orange County." He really gets a kick out of that one.

that you would never do, or have at your wedding. Not to be mean... I love my cousin but at her GORGEOUS poolside ceremony she had these christmas ornaments on the tables as a favor and they had photocopied a photo of themselves and stuck inside with confetti and it was really awful. It was just really random and a really bad quality photo. It was odd.

Erika I need to add- "platinum weddings" and "say yes to the dress" he actually gets into those for like 10 minutes though. ha ha

There are certain shows some may call "trash" or that my FI just can't stand- like ... "sex and the city" and "americas next top model" When he walks in I usually just DVR them... What are yours?

thanks Abbie! I didn't think to search for hypothyroid.. before i posted

Omg Jaimelynn I found the thread- thanks! How are you doing? Are you still taking Armour? the last post was in December but it sounds like you were doing great on it. Have your symptoms completely gone away?

Hello. I went and had a full run of tests for my thyroid after my personal trainer suggested it becuase I was experiencing some issues. In the past I have had the regular thyroid check during a physical but the tests I had done this time were more extensive. It turns out that my thyroid is not only underactive but I have a whole bunch of hormonal junk out of wack. So.. .I started taking "thyroid armour" about 3 weeks ago. This is a more holistic approach to treating the issue. I am wondering of anyone had any expereince with "thyroid armour" and what it was like. In addition to this daily pill I am on a slew of supplements to try and get everything back in balance. While I am happy that I finally have an answer to the root of my issues- I am hoping that this will do the trick so i can avoid the usual medical approach (synthroid). Either way, I will have to take this forever I think. What were my issues? -exhaustion (beyond the norm- like I could fall asleep anywhere) Also feeling incredibly exhausted in the morning- beyond the norm. -weight gain (working out like a fiend, watching my diet and there was a gain) -extremes in body temp (I would be fine walking to the subway and when I got on i would have a serious hot flash and be drenched. very embarassing) -constipation (this was my biggest problem. not fun) -sore joints -interrupted sleep *I would love to hear anyone's experience with this medication- or any others*

Kelly that's great news. I have my fingers crossed!

Jenn I'm sorry the employees at the resort were a*$*&les. That stinks. I am super happy that the PRC treated you right though. It sounds like it was a good switch for the end of the vacay.

Hey All, It's me again. I have the wedding on my mind today... Question for the girls that have already done it- For the cocktail hour- I remember reading that someone had cocktail tables (high tables) brought out. Am I making that up? I guess I am wondering if people could have apps and champagne on the beach instead of heading right up to where we are having the reception. thoughts?

JennyK's Planning Thread! *pic heavy*
yamille replied to JennyK's topic in Destination Wedding Planning Journal
Great stuff jenny! Congratulations. -
Hi Lauren, I am not doing any special centerpiece other than the hurricane candle that is included in the fantasy package. I had initially asked about some but the prices were out of hand in my opinion. I rather spend that money on something else. She did send me a few pics attached to an email a while ago. I put these on a word document and this site is not letting me upload- i tried a few times. PM me your email address and I will send it to you that way. Does anyone know waht I may be doing wrong. It's a word document-I copied all the pics onto that. I thought it would be easy. I moved to astoria after years in manhattan. It's a nice change. We don't know where to go after marriage though.. hmm We want more SPACE. I know that much.

OMG I had the same issue with Victor from Swank It's really annoying. He sent me this HUGE overpriced quote after Perla informed him that I was working with Carlos. We had a few emails back and forth where I told him that Elisa the original coordinator had told me there was a $300 fee to use an outside vendor and then he disagreed and said it was 15% of his total quote. Which ends up being $330. I was really annoyed by all the back and forth and unclear information.

Yay! I am so glad that you had a wonderful experience. Congratulations! -
Deanna that's awesome. You deserve it but I also understand why you feel guilty. Forget about the calories do a little extra at the gym and give the kiddos another treat. I bet they won't even remeber it. Happy friday!
