  1. Welcome! Have a look through the Dominican Republic forum and you will get all sorts of advice and suggestions. Have fun planning your wedding
  2. I have 40 leftover purple ones (organza). I was selling them for $1 each, but no takers. I'll let them go for shipping costs only. Just send me a PM if you're interested.
  3. What a great idea Luciel! Now the envelopes look just as pretty as the invites and no-one will notice that the paper is not the same quality.
  4. This will help! The Perfect Palette Personally, I love plum with champagne, but I'm biased as purple was one of my colours (along with lime green and a touch of blue).
  5. I didn't buy special "sand ceremony" vases and just picked some up from Michaels. This was our ceremony wording: "Lucy and Tom, today you join your separate lives together and those of your children. The two separate bottles of sand symbolize your separate lives, separate families and separate sets of friends. They represent all that you are and all that you'll ever be as an individual. They also represent your lives before today. As these containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be." Here's a pic:
  6. Congratulations Dawn! This site is all about "getting married on the ocean" so have fun with it!
  7. Found these on Beyond the Rack and thought they would make a nice wedding shoe. Reg. $270 now on for $119.

Its not for everybody (you eat pretty much the same thing for 3 weeks) but it worked for me so I hope it can also benefit someone out there! I agree! That's why diets fail in the long run. Your whole attitude about what you eat and the importance of regular exercise has to change or else you WILL gain back anything you've lost. I'm glad it helped you -- I'm thinking I may give it a try as I've been working out regularly, and being relatively careful with my diet, but my weight hasn't budged. This may just give me the kick-start I need to get my metabolism revved up again, especially at my age!

She stopped at the end of the aisle (before walking down) and her fiance actually walked down the aisle to go get her, and they both walked down together. It was her way of showing that her fiance is now the new man in her life and is most important to her. Soon as the music started playing and you realized that she wasn't walking down, but he was coming to get her and they were going together, it was just a cry fest!! It's another option you can consider. OMG that almost made me cry while reading it, never mind witnessing it! I think that's a fantastic idea! If I didn't have anyone to walk me down the aisle, I would definitely do this!

It's meant to kick-start a sluggish metabolism, which will result in a significant weight loss, however, it's only meant to be followed for three weeks, max. After that you'll start losing muscle mass, which would defeat the whole purpose! If you're able to drop that much weight so quickly, I think it would give you that incentive to keep working out and eat properly, including re-introducing healthy carbs and dairy into your diet once the three weeks are up.
  11. Good job Maria! Now you can cross one more item off your to-do list!

  15. Oh boy! I'm already a Beyond the Rack junkie. This thread could be dangerous!
  16. We ordered personalised matchbooks from a friend and they were your standard, names/date in script. The only thing that tied it to our wedding was the colour of the books (purple). Yours are great because they have your logo so they're 100% custom! Great job
