  1. Do what you wanna do : quit my job (yay!)
  2. I love green, but have had bad experiences with it on walls in several differnet places I've lived in... boo The only place I liked it was in a kitchen once and it was dark forest green with white cupboards and burnt orange tile floor. It was fabulous. In terms of soothing, massage, etc. I'd go with caramel/or some kind of very light brown/sand colour. Kind of more natural-ish and then you could accent with more fun colours.
  3. much right now!! : sawdust! (we just put in hardwood floors )

  5. wish I was better at it : being fit
  6. Congratulations!!! Hope it's an amazing day filled with beauty, love and laughter.

Andrea, I agree about sticking to my thermometer for now because i'm used to it. It has the usual 1 decimal point. I believe i'm 3 DPO right now and have had three consecutive days of temp rise (97.6, 97.8, 98.1). We'll see what happens! I wish you all the best with your TTC journey! I love that we can support each other with BDW and FF! Have an amazing time! Can't wait to see pics!!!
  8. I'm bummed because Iwent and bought one for $20 (there were no cheaper ones) and it said it was super accurate. Well, it just goes to one decimal point, so I could have just used my regular digital thermometer. Boo! But now that I'm using it, I'm not changing - have to keep the temping as accurate as possible and switching thermometers would/could mess it up.

Also, if you get someone else to join you and that other person get a free 30 days. I haven't used the TCOYF software but I have heard great things about the book so I bet it's great as well. Good luck to you and we are all here if you have questions. Hi Andrea! I'll second Kat on this. I'm on FF now and paid for a 3 month from the start. It's nice because that way you have access to the forum and some other cool charting stuff. I'm 'enjoying' it... as much as you can! PM me if you join and I'll add you too! Good luck everyone. Calia, your DH sounds very sweet. It sounds like a good thing that you took a break. I'm only into my 2nd month, so I can't even imagine what you've been through. I went for my first ultrasound to see if there were any problems as I've been on the longest cycle of my life recently (over 55 days). They did an external and internal. It was kind of interesting, but also sad, because we were looking at an empty womb.
  10. I got DH's on this great site - but I was looking for a good deal. We both love it and it was only $190! They shipped itreally fast. They have tons of great rings: Wedding Rings It's called Pompeii 3. This is the one I got DH:
  11. This is a great thread, Yamille! I have a weird one to share because it happened after the wedding. Yup, our WD was Dec 12 and I had this one around the 28th, before going back to work after the holidays. We were getting married in some big chalet in the mountains in a candelight ceremony (could it be a more different venue than the real one?) THere were millions of rooms (like a hotel) and my sisters were running around all ready and I couldn't find my dress. When someone finally brought it to me, it was dirty (from our wedding) and it didn't fit. Everyone was already at the site downstairs waiting and I couldn't even get my legs into the dress. It was horrible! DH was like "it's done! you're stuck! why are you still having wedding dreams?" LOL!
  12. Welcome back and Congratulations on your marriage!!! Those pics are great - you look gorgeous. Can't wait to see more! It looks like you had fabulous weather!
  13. Dreamgirl - this looks nice I don't think you have left anything out. If you want to you can list the minister if he/she is important as well, but that's not necessary. Ours was really short and brief because I wanted it to fit onto a small piece of paper. Also, I didn't know what our music would be until after I printed them all up! Prelude: is the music that is playing while guests are getting settled into their seats. Processional: is usually the music that the bride walks down to. In our case, my BMs and I ended up walking down to the same song (Book of Love by Peter Gabriel). I thought that would be weird, but it ended up being perfect for us. Good luck! "Recessional" is the song me and hubby will use to walk back down the aisle to... correct? Should I list the names of these songs and the song artist? For us, it was just the combination of them losing all our luggage both ways and the fact that someone spilled coffee on my dress because the only place they'd put it was the floor. Can't win 'em all. And Tara had a great experience! Here's hoping yours will be perfect and smooth, Ashley Quote: Originally Posted by tvt We flew US Air and we had a great experience - especially on the way down. Well the pilot was standing right there and smiled at me and said "oh I can hang that up for you in here" and he proceeded to take my dress and hang it in the cockpit. I was so thankful and touched by his offer as getting my dress there was one of my biggest concerns. Also, they didn't charge us for being over the weight limit either way because it was our wedding. Overall a good experience on US air! We also changed our flights home and the customer service was great and really easy, they changed our flight for us and only charged us a small change fee.
  15. That was my old boss's solution to me being bullied by a co-worker last year. instead of standing up for me and making the girl stop (she was friends with her - there wer about 3 of them who let her talk about me and be mean to me), she told me I needed to get to know peoplel more and be more social, essentially to 'protect' myself. WTF? I agree, as long as it's not some weird thing like this or that people are talking badly about you because they're misinterpreting your shyness, just go about things thew ay you do.
