Heather!!! I'm so glad I saw this before going to work!!! I've been dying to see both of them on you. It's hard to know without them being fitted properly, because the first one is very loose around your hips, so isn't as flattering, but I really like the 2nd one best. I love the lace, the sash, the way it fits you, the fact that it's more streamlined than the big princess cut of the 1st. Either way, you're probably right to bring both to the seamstress and get her to pin you into both to see what they'd really look like on you when they're fitted.

Oh my goodness! How crazy of that girl to contact you like that. I know I have someone in my past and if his new girlfriend contacted me I would be just as horrified as you are right now. I wish he didn't even exist. Well, it's best that you blocked them and try to never have any more contact with her or him. Try to put it past you. You are probably more emotional right now because you are preparing to marry someone and you're thinking about the rest of your life... it's a stressful time. The great thing is that you're with a great man now and your life has turned around. Don't let her ruin this for you!

I looked at Target online and saw that they had over 7 types of fedoras for sale, including a straw one. It's not beautiful, but it was only about 12 bucks. We're driving down to the States on Saturday. I'll poke around in Target

OMG. That is the worst. I just can't believe it! I would feel utterly horrified and confused and just depressed if I were you. I hope he thinks about it and takes it back. That's just so uncaring I'm sure you'll get plenty of validation from us BDW girls. I've been upset lately because my dad still hasn't booked and we're now only about a month away. I've decided that I have to rearrange my vision of him walking me down the aisle because at this point, who knows when he'll show up. That's had me pretty upset. But honestly this takes the cake. I feel so bad for you. I hope he comes to his senses.

Have you tried on the ring you think you want? The reason I ask is because I thought I knew exactly what kind of ring I wanted, but when I went to try rings on, I realized quickly that it was way too flashy for me. What I ended up loving was miles and miles away from what I thought I wanted. I would tell him you know what you think you want and go and try on a bunch of very different rings with an open mind. Maybe you'll find something that fits your budget and captures your heart! Just to give you an idea. This is what I thought I wanted. This is what I got (and love!)

Wow! Such a beautiful, intricate dress. I love lace! I think I would prefer white underneath, so it sets off the lace, and doesn't make you look naked beneath (!) But that's just me. It's really great that they're working with you so you can see both! Sometimes things like this can be so hard to visualize. Good luck!

Awesome!!! We have Denby too. They're really pricey, but very strong. They can go in the microwave, oven, dishwasher, everywhere FI had already picked them out (1st wedding), which is a little annoying as I didn' thave the choice, but I've started to love them too. His ex took half of their 8 place settings, so we started with 4. Now we're up to 6. I just noticed they also have salt and pepper shakers! Gotta add those to our registry! Well, I was going to say the same thing - 1st if you want to look curvy, 2nd if you want to look flowy, depending on your body. Sounds like you are quite small... so you don't have to wrry about tummy showing. So I guess then it depends on the overall feel of your wedding. Do you have your colours and all your stuff picked out? Maybe that will help you decide. Because the dress can really set the tone.

I've been missing out! monkey bread sounds fantastic... and very very fattening...

I may have it too on my wedding week I went off the pill nearly 40 days ago and am still waiting for a period. So I have no idea when it's going to come.... From my experience in the past going on and off the pill is not good for your health and typically when I wanted it to postpone 'her' visit, it just ended up making me spot for the whole month and have worse cramps. I'd be worried about that... I think if I were in your position, I would just wait it out and deal with it. It sucks big time, but at least this way you're not messing with your natural cycle.
